It is universally considered the easiest at the beginners' levels, because it's easier to start than other instruments—you can pick up on it more quickly, unlike guitar, when you're trying to get your hands to bend in ways that hands shouldn't fucking bend.

But once you get to the REAL piano, it has to be one of the most difficult. In my opinion.

I personally think that the piano is music as it exists, at the pinnacle of opteristic futurism. :)

@LilyTheAnnoyance I'm just getting to the difficult part on piano, so I can't say too much; But the way it plays--compared to all the ways you can strum a guitar, cello, violin the "right" way--it's not as much variations of wiggling/firmness/where exactly you are pressing/etc. But the piano does create a better range of dominancy of both hands for me. And the guitar and piano both have fretts and keys so you know where to go. I've never had lessons for anything, but I can by play ear well.

Really puts us in our place. This can only occur through dedication to one thing throughout the greater portion of someones life. Wish my dad would have taught me how to play at a younger age. We had a piano in our house from my birth up till I was about 13. Only fiddled with the piano and he didn't really like it when I did plus there were keys that were out of tune. Better late than never. Only have about 4-5 yrs exp. 1-2 if you don't count breaks.

To be technical she really doesn't. When someone is this advanced at playing the piano it is because they have more neurological pathways and connections from her hands to her brain. In other words she has a better connection to her brain to her hands and her brain fires off signals from the brain to her hands at a faster rate.
