  • Time to grit our teeth and fights for whats right. That's what equates a strong and versatile motherfucker :D

  • I remember seeing something about S Korea US Navy and N Korea in the news in Jan. a year ago in '10. It caught my eye and I sensed there was something more than they were telling. As if they were reporting a cover story and not the news. I forget what triggered it but that's how I felt. 12 months later, Wiki leaks showed files that showed since Jan. when I first saw the news posturing, S Korea and US Navy were maneuvering on N Korea to provoke them to strike.

    -

At the time of that leak ..

  • ....at the time lf that leak in December, there was heavy media covering "near war" tensions in N Korea. The beef was that N Korea demanded that S Korea and US Navy stay OUT of their waters and that if they entered their waters they would go to war and attack anyone breaching their waters.

    -

The news was posturing the public to be ready to expect N Korea to strike first and for US Navy and Skorea to respond.

    -

    Then that Leak broke.

    -

By week end, I never heard about that situation again.

  • Judging from what I've seen during 20 years as an activist in D.C. dealing with the media and government officials, most value their comfort and security more than others' inalienable rights. Assange is highly knowledgeable, insightful and principled. He sees the big picture. His moral reasoning seems beyond the grasp of most journalists, who believe they can compromise with corrupt authorities yet evade responsibility for the atrocities they commit. In reality they are tools of oppression.

  • this young turks deush rocket did not get his own show?!?!?!? get the fuck outta here

  • It´s outrageous how americans see a chopper slaying children over the seas but decide to brag about the one who leaked the video.

  • The United States government should give the American people more transparency. The starting point should be the federal reserve along with the taking down the Patriot Act a complete violation of rights. Third ending the occupation and support and funding of American tax payer money to Authoritarian regimes, like Saudi Arabia, Yemen, and Egypt.

  • Don't forget the the man who's languishing in prison giving this man his information for his wikileaks site. He's in far deeper problem and distress than Mr. Assange.

  • I'm so happy that someone out there is FINALLY revealing the truth about our governments. Nice one Assange , we're with you all the way. What's interesting is that your bringing a countless number of people in the name of truth. USA is a great country...it's just the system of law that they are living in....and how money controls everything. Sarah Palin?...shes just full on retarded! How did she get credibility?...oh yeah shes a republican.

  • I know, he is only writing a book to pay for his legal costs, now he's Palin and Hilton.

He does have that androgynous appeal, so it makes sense. Free speech my bum, he's trying to play some sort of victim wile victimizing others.

He doesn't concern himself with anything but maximizing attention directed towards himself .

I already knew the book was coming, for him, it's a self fulfilling prophecy , so is the eventual movie deal and talk show appearances.

  • @jvforever72

palin is a hillbilly who wants to be a politician, hilton wants to be marilyn monroe, assange wants to hold fascist governments accountable for their crimes.

assange isnt playing the victim he is being victimized by fascist governments he is exposing. and assange's work will prevent innocent people from being victimized in the future.

he isnt conducting interviews for attention, he is doing it to avoid being railroaded by a fascist govt kangaroo court

  • BRING THE BASTARDS DOWN ASSANGE I WOULD! III%

  • excellent interview, thanks for uploading Moxy. Everyone should hail assange for trying to open up governments. We all have a right to know what our governments are up to. We can't just show up to the election booth every 4 years and choose between Coke and Pepsi.

  • Assange your 15 minutes are almost up, just go away and hang with Paris Hilton, you're idol .

We all know you're just an attention whore, and there is nothing wrong with that, but pretending to be a voice for freedom denigrates all the people that actually are.

  • @jvforever72

I agree with you on one point. They should hang Paris Hilton.

  • @jvforever72

there are easier ways of getting attention which dont involve infuriating a corporate fascist government who wants to detain indefinately people who try to expose their crimes

he is doing this because he is part of an increasingly dwindling minority of humanity who despise injustices and crimes committed by corporate fascist governments

  • @signboyy

I think he is just part of a majority of attention and fame seeking persons with a slightly different angle, he claims to be a freedom fighter of sorts, a modern day truth seeker.

Don't you get it, he is manipulating his minions for the attention he craves.

Now that he has it he's not so sure what to do with it. He has relatively nothing of consequence in the form of "secrets", but he will extend the idea that he does for all it's worth

  • @jvforever72

there are easier ways to get attention which dont involve exposing fascist governments and winding up in their gulags for life.

so i think attention seeking probably isnt his motive.

he is motivated by a basic sense of justice and morality which most humans have. but apparently you do not. the german nazis didnt have it either.

  • America is actually destroying itself by its own means. Our founders warned us and would be proud of us as a Country! This country needs to be rebuilt upon a better cornerstone then what we have today! Our Founders gave us a great Cornerstone that we are destroying by our own doings, and non from outsiders. Fear is destroying us! hahahahaha Fear away America!

  • Julian I hope you have a peaceful and happy Xmas. Sending you so much light, love and respect. I hope 2011 brings you the Nobel peace prize! XX

  • all the hillbillies who hate assange hate the first ammendment then because he is defending it.

  • @signboyy

He and his minions don't believe in free speech, they believe in selective so called revelations to further agendas.

If they believed in free speech they wouldn't hide behind a series of servers to spout these revelations.

They rail against these shadow governments while hiding in the shadows themselves.

His pathetic defense is that he and his website only allow the posting of these documents, what a wussy

  • @jvforever72

how have he and his "minions" indicated that they dont believe in free speach?

they are hiding their identities in order to prevent fascist governments from capturing them and preventing them from exercising their free speech

youre criticizing them for hiding from fascist anti-free speech governments instead of criticizing fascist anti-free speech governments?

there's nothing wussy-ish about taking on powerful fascist govt's.

you have lunatic logic & priorities

  • We are following the rule of law. The Private is being held legally under the UCMJ. He is not in any way a "political prisoner" as he hacked a computer system, retrieved secret material, and turned it over to a foreign national. That is CLEARLY espionage. If he had revealed a crime or cover-up, that would have been one thing but he did not.

  • @FactChecking101

the american corporate fascist government is torturing manning in a variety of ways and should be charged in the international court for crimes against humanity.

  • @signboyy Keeping a spy separated from the general population so he can't further reveal secrets isn't a crime. Keeping a person from committing suicide isn’t a crime. In fact, the US is often accused of not doing enough to prevent suicides.

  • @FactChecking101

keeping him in a cell for 23 hours a day is cruel and unusual punishment

denying him a pillow and blanket is cruel and unusual punishment

not allowing him to exercise in his cell is cruel and unusual punishment

not allowing him to sleep between 5am and 8pm is cruel and unusual punishment the american military should be charged for war crimes in the international court for crimes against foreign citizens and also now for the treatment of manning

  • @signboyy If the above were considered cruel and unusual, they wouldn't be allowed for any prisoner in any prison in the US. I mean, I get that liberals think 9 hours of sleep a night isn't enough, but it is if you aren't stoned all day.

  • @FactChecking101

prisoners in the prison system suffer cruel and unusual punishment

so your logic is that because cruel and unusual punishment is so widespread in our american prison gulag system that means it is acceptable?

i believe nazi concentration camp guards had your philosophy

  • @signboyy Manning’s pillow is built into the mattress. He has 2 blankets instead of sheets. He is allowed 9 hours of sleep on weekdays and 11 hours on weekends, has a television, has 15 books and magazines, takes a hot shower daily, gets 3 hot meals a day, 2 hours and 20 minutes a day he can correspond and is provided paper and pen, and on weekends he is allowed visitors. Yeah, that’s torture.

  • @FactChecking101

they why has it been reported that manning is denied a pillow and blanket?

he may be allowed to sleep between 8pm and 5am but he is is not allowed to so much as doze off between 5am and 8pm

he does not have a television

he does not take a shower daily and is in his cell 23 hours per day

he does not get 3 hot meals a day, it is mostly packaged junk food found in your local 7-11

he cannot correspond with anyone but his lawyer and only with him for 1 hour per week

  • @signboyy What are you talking about? No one, not even his lawyer is claiming what you are saying. PRO-Manning sites all verify what I've said.

  • @FactChecking101

the mainstream corporate media is even reporting the conditions i described. so you are blatantly lying.

  • @FactChecking101

he isnt allowed visitors unless you count that one hour per week with his lawyer a visitor

what is the source of your disinformation, rush limbaugh? or are you just pulling it out of your ass?

  • @signboyy You just described prison for people on suicide watch in well relugated prisons world wide.

  • @mrfrednoname

yes its ironic that people on suicide watch are tortured even more than when not being on suicide watch.

so the generally inhumane conditions of prison make them suicidal, so the prison makes conditions even more inhumane causing them to be even more suicidal

only a psychotic fascist would not be able to notice this

  • @signboyy Agreed. This is not the Country or justice system I know.

  • @FactChecking101 He's NOT a spy until he's been judged to be one by a jury of his peers.

At this point he is still innocent until proven to be guilty of spying.

Do you get the concept of presumption of innocence?

  • FactChecking101:

"Keeping a spy separated from the general population so he can't further reveal secrets isn't a crime"

It amounts to shutting the door after the horse has bolted.

"Keeping a person from committing suicide isn’t a crime. In fact, the US is often accused of not doing enough to prevent suicides"

Their concern for Manning's physical well-being is commendable, now only if they were as concerned for his mental state.

The treatment is legal but the law is being used as a bludgeon here

  • @SmiteTheUnholy the treatment is not legal, he has been incarcerated without trial or a proper charge.

  • @SmiteTheUnholy No, suicide is technically illegal

  • The answer is definitely no. They don't follow their own laws so why on earth would anyone think they're gonna follow anyone else either.

    Rome is burning...

  • @SheepDoggOne What laws are we not following?

  • @FactChecking101

The Constitution which is the law of the land. Need I even mention a few of the hundreds of violations that take place every year too, just from our own government alone?

  • @SheepDoggOne Nice obscure generalized accusation. Name a law we are violating.

  • where are the Israeli cables

oh ya wikileaks went to Israelis ministers they wont be released yay

  • @twisted45 FYI, they are all American cables. The fact that there is nothing damaging about Israel is simply caused by the fact that every US ambassador wouldn't think of writing anything negative about his or her jewish overlords. In US opinion, the Israelis can't do anything wrong. Ever. Period.

  • JA is exactly correct about everything he said. WAKE UP.

"Free market" is ROOT of problems

    1. how do you stop corruption caused by profit motive?

    2. how do you ensures everyone has minimum necessities?

    ANSWER

    1. FREELY Share ALL resources & knowledge worldwide, NO more money/property

    2. Use LATEST technology to create an ABUNDANCE of all our needs, NO more waste/theft

    3. Automate/localize ALL production and distribution, NO more central control/wage slavery

    v=YxPPnCW6sMo

    v=Cf1gZxmIDKw

  • @dontblockmedk That's been tried. It was called the USSR. How did that turn out?

  • @F This has NOTHING AT ALL to do with communism so your implication only makes you look stupid. The REAL questions.

1 Can we produce abundant food, water, energy, etc for everyone or not?

2 Do we have the technology to automate most of the work or not?

    If no, prove it.

If yes, 'money for labor' is OBSOLETE. So the only logical system is to produce abundance and just distribute it. There can only be force when there is NOT enough for everyone, ONLY with abundance EVERYONE is FREE. GET IT.

  • @dontblockmedk You have absolutely no understanding of human nature. Go watch animal farm and get back to me.

  • @FactChecking101 Please watch the vids because it is obvious you have no idea what I am describing. I will not let you bait me with straw man arguments.

AFTER you watch the vids please let me know if you still don't understand something.

  • MOX & CENK FOR THE FUCKING WIN!

  • This is rich!

The Young Turkeys did an exclusive with Julian Assange

    sure, who wouldn't believe it?

  • thank you for uploading this.. it should be required viewing for every American.

  • When are you going to hack into the bank accounts of the elite and give the money back to the Americans, the British, the Irish citizens, Australians, Africans, Haitians, etc?

  • A journalist has sources. Confidentiality guarantees the source will keep providing information. Otherwise, there will be 0 whistleblowers and 0 truth revealed.

  • We don't need cables to know that the U.S. created a war in part to have Haliburton profit from it. yeah yeah yeah I get it. However, I have been waiting to hear about Israel's manipulations for g-d knows how long. If Assange does a cover up for Israel, he is just as guilty of the hypocrisy he wishes to expose.

  • FREEDOM - Its disgusting what they are trying to do this man - UPRISE PEOPLE STOP TAKING THIS SHIT FROM THESE ELITIST WANKERS THERE TIME IS COMING

  • mrfrednoname:

You don't have to "buy" what he says, you can look at available information and form your own conclusions. Most rational people would form an opinion diametrically opposed to yours however.

These diplomats are public servants and when acting in their professional capability then there should be no expectation of privacy from their employers i.e. the US citizens. This information was already available to ~2.5m people on Siprnet so it can't be that private, surely?

  • Counter still stuck @ 301 views @ 9.26 PM EST

  • Hank Uygur knows what's up.

  • bradley manning is in a cell for 23 hours per day which is torture.

he is not allowed to exercise in his cell which is torture.

not allowed to sleep between 5am and 8pm is torture.

not given a sheet and pillow is torture.

not even the nazis were as inhumane as the american corporate fascist government has become

  • Haha i've been saying it all along the US government are the terrorists and god damn he backed me up.

  • The US Government is the most corrupt terrorist organisation on the face of the planet, anyone with an ounce of intelligence knows that. Palin, Huckerbee are just puppets feeding the ignorance of the ignorant public.

  • What they are doing to Bradley Manning is sick-it is torture---He should be able to exercise--and nap--to have to be motionless and awake for hours in a small cell is unethical-and I hope more powerful people than me raise their voices to challenge his treatment-

  • a bit disappointing, Cenk - and where is this 10:55 a strong charge?

  • Manning should be in public view.

  • Thus says the guy hiding from the law in England. Who refuses to tell us his sources, despite claiming to be for not holding secrets, and who most of the people arround him are turning against. What a liar.

  • @mrfrednoname Troll

  • @macpduff Amazing comeback, truely inspiring.... not

  • @macpduff WHAT IS YOUTUBE UP TO? TOO MANY NEGATIVE VOTES!? THIS IS THE WORST KIND OF CENSORSHIP!!!

  • @mrfrednoname You haven't been following the story.

Please refrain from comments until you educate yourself.

Assange turned himself in a couple weeks ago, and is now under house arrest on bail.

he wears an ankle bracelet and reports to the Sussex police every day.

  • @macpduff Why exactly is he not answering the charges in Sweden? Or is he such a 'hero" that he is exempt from the law???

  • @mrfrednoname What charges?

  • @mrfrednoname

if he revealed his sources then douchebags like you would start squealing about him putting his sources in jeopardy by revealing their identities.

douchebags like you will try to demonize him no matter what he does. you are either a professional propagandist or a dumb military hillbilly who thinks the american military should be able to be above international law as they brutally wage corporate wars.

  • @signboyy So, the only person who has the right to secrecy is Assange. That makes him a huge hypocrite.

  • @mrfrednoname

people have a right to personal privacy, governments do not.

  • @signboyy LOL These cables were private between people. So it all goes Assanges way and nobody else has rights. Seriously. You guys need to stop buying everything this guy says.

  • @mrfrednoname

the cables were conversations amongst diplomats of a political nature and therefore should be public knowledge

you and corporations try to lump together personal privacy in with government secrecy so that people will decide to allow government secrecy in order to preserve personal privacy.

but i say they are too different things. there should not be government privacy but their should be personal privacy.

  • @signboyy Diplomacy could never exist in the open. If we only said exactly what we believed it would only serve to incite other nations and destroy negotiations.

  • @FactChecking101

all government activity should exist in the open and be public because the public should be in control of the government

instead we have fascism which is government controlled by corporations and banks. and fascist corporate governments seem to need a lot of secrecy due to the fact that they need to keep quiet all the things they do against the interests of the people they supposedly represent

  • @signboyy i agree totally, but it could be argued, that a government put's its own country first, and has to do thing's that are bad for the greater good,

    p.s

    i support wiki leaks 100%

  • @inconsistanttruth

when there is government secrecy it is because the government is putting corporations and banks first instead of the american people, hence the secrecy

anything the corporations and banks dont want the american people to know about for fear of outrage, they order their military and intelligence agencies to classify as secret

  • @mrfrednoname

and actually wikileaks never knows the identity of the whistleblowers who offer them documents due to the technology they use.

  • @signboyy Bullshit. That is a lie. Would they really print out data they couldn't confirm? They know but are lying.

  • @mrfrednoname

they intentionally created the software to avoid finding out identities because they assume there might be government agents working at wikileaks who would try to find out the identities from within the organization.

data is confirmed by the content. when we all saw that video submitted to wikileaks of that helicopter riddling that car of journalists with a machine gun in iraq that was the confirmation of the data.

  • @mrfrednoname

    OMG you are so stupid...

PLZ go die...the oxygen you breath can be more useful to better and more intelligent organisms like...Bactria.

So yah die and save the Bactria.

  • "Shock-Jock Politicians". I couldn't have said it better, myself. I think we'll be hearing that phrase again once or twice.

  • "just another idiot trying to make a name for himself"

AGHAHAHAHA!!!! Love that he doesn't even bother to give Huckabee any more of a response, lol

  • @thorkyll I adorred Huckabee because I thought he was sincere and honest.

    WRONG

ANYONE who calls for the killing of another untried person, is a criminal and should not hold office

  • @thorkyll

they way he called huckabee an idiot made me laugh.

huckabee is an idiot. a very dangerous idiot.

assange is a brilliant man and i hope he doesnt succumb to these idiot fascists in government.

  • @LosAngelesWeedSmoker so what if he is a cock smoker- weed smoker?

  • @LosAngelesWeedSmoker

julian assange is a cia puppet because he leaks information on all governments rather than just one government?

no that says that he is dedicated to exposing dirt on all governments.

  • United States = Judge Dredd

    "I AM THE LAW!"

  • Is that host the guy from the Young turks news casts? he looks exactly like that asshole

  • Thank you. Impressive interview. It has made me move towrds being more sympathetic toward Assange.

Up until now, I have been convinced Assange was a gov psy-ops. Now, I'm open to the possibility Assange may be legitimate.

  • the international banking cartel uses the u.s. and other countries as scapegoats and is working completely outside all common civilized laws and rights. i agree the u.s. is in disarray and needs to be re-organized in enormous ways. but in my opinion if wikileaks wants to help re-establish law and fairness in the world, they need to expose all the world banking criminal acts which is the true terrorism of earth.

  • @planetoperator

assange said that the dirt on the banks is coming soon.

  • Bravo Assange, bravo Manning, Support them both. Vote for Obama's primary challenger.

  • @agitcam here here...hopefully bernie sanders

  • I like how Assange dismissed Huckabee in such an off hand way.

Just another idiot trying to make a name from himself. This is serious business.

  • What is happening to Bradley is despicable.

  • First Amendment to the United States Constitution applies to US citizens. When did Julian become a citizens?

  • 301 views still? hmmm!

  • HE LOOKS HIGH

AND OF COURSE THE NWO PAWNS THE MUSLIMS - WOULD HAVE HIM ON TO CRY LIKE A GIRL!

  • By the sounds of what they're doing to Bryan Manning, it sounds worse than what they do to the terrorists in Guantanamo.

  • Move over Assange, Australia now has 'dickileaks'. YouTube that for an update )))

  • They call for murder of Assange because they're told to by their Israeli overlords. It's part of the sham.

This whole thing stinks like shit. Assange did something good by releasing the documents, but he's doing something bad by getting into bed with Israel.

I say fuck Assange. The people working at wikileaks are starting to say this too.

  • I'd nominate Julian Assange for president but he knows we're on a sinking ship over here! He's very intelligent and knows the constitution! obama only knows the koran.so i'll stand by my only choice,RON PAUL FOR PRESIDENT!

  • cenk rocks! check out TheYoungTurks channel on YouTube, you'll be impressed. Think about it!

  • LOL. Palin is in bed with a bunch of gun toting "new world order" right wingers in Alaska and Wikileaks caught her doing Government business though her own e-mail address. If the government ends up shooting Assange they'll have made him a martyr and it will be just as good a confession that it was our own u.s. government that killed the Kennedys and Martin Luthur King. "Violence to achieve a political end!!!" Way to go Cenk!!!

  • @FreeAssange1

    /watch?v=UKp-scFb3to

Palin and "The Alaskan Independent Party"

  • And what's Assange's opinion on ISRAEL!???

    HELLOOOOOOOOOO?

  • @evanWith7 Why does that matter?

  • @joepglass

This whole thing is an act. The threats to his life from the far left, the attempt to keep him in prison. This whole thing is being orchistrated to keep him looking like a savior, and to keep the information he released extra special. He could insert any lie in and make it appear as absolute truth.

The end goal is war with Iran.

  • @joepglass

    far right* rather

  • @evanWith7 What does that matter at all

  • @evanWith7 You got that RIGHT! Israel is a terrorist state, and also no ally to the US.

    I like Incogman.net

  • impressive interview. I`d like huckabee to debate him.

  • private manning should not be treated as he did the public a service

  • Did he call him Hank? His answers are far too long.

  • TY MOX!

  • I keep expecting Cenk to start rambling like the "reporters" in idiocracy.

  • The American Gouvernment and most politicians in America don't give a shit about the rule of law, or the constititution. They only want freedom of speech for people who chear for big autoritarian gouvernment and more wars. Americans are fucking insane if they think the are the leaders of the free world. They are not free, because the gouvernment in the US don't give a shit about freedom or the American People!!. THEY HATE IT!!!! The are taking away you're freedoms one by one.

  • cenk uygur: turkish delight

  • minority

  • that is right he called them to the carpet and we have a resposibility to hold our leaders and ourselves to the very standards we proclaim so loudly to be fighting for. what the heck people if when you hear truth and you reason and you try to refute it, then you probably are a fool. I hear you julian even if we are the majority at the moment, we hear you.

  • Best interviewing of Assange that I've seen so far. Cenk asked the questions and let Julian answer them fully without interruption. Can you imagine if it was O'Reilly instead? Julian would have got maybe 100 words out in total.

  • Assange is a hero.

  • Under the Military Commisions Act, they can all just be called "domestic terrorists" by Obama and held in prison forever and ever without charges.

  • "The illumination of a publisher, that is the definition of terrorism" o_O

    Interesting...

  • "Justice will prevail, you say!? But of course it will! Those who stand at the top determine what's wrong and what's right! Whoever wins this war ~becomes~ justice!"

Quote from one piece manga #556.

  • police in america are terrorists not julian assange

  • Mr Assange has gained a new respect as far as I;m concerned..This is the first time I have ever heard him speak what he say's is not wrong and he is spot on about the politicians in this country.I believe what he says about arresting the politicians that call for the murder should be prosecuted.

  • "The Illumination of a publisher, that is the definition of terrorism" o_O

  • isnt it amazing that interpol and the cia cant get this guy but MSNBC is able to get an exclusive interview with him?

  • Americans don't give a rat's ass...

  • i hope that with pressure from the outside world ameicans will see what they have become and start to act like the truely free and brave people we have been labeled through out history by ourselves. if it looks like crap, smells like crap. and taste like crap guess what it is crap. we have lost our standing in the world because we the american people have closed our eyes to all that has gone on in this world at the hands of our government and others namely the elite. how can we all stand idle.

  • Hahaha

This foreign national weilds more knowledge concerning the US constitution than most Americans- congressional members included.
