    Haha!!! :)

  • How come wen i click on a Youtube video i cant fit it in the screen. Plz reply (I have a 8.9 inch widescreen but the screen seems to be to small for the videos)?

  • seems like firefox (or chrome) is not optimize for the ION. HD on youtube will obviously run fine on a core2duo.

  • pretty poor youtube performance, doesn't seem any better than on my NC10! you'd need to swap the wi-fi card out for a broadcom video accelerator like you would have to in an NC10.

  • Or we just wait two more weeks for the new Flash version which will support the ION and watch all kinds of youtube vids without problems.

  • is that confirmed?

will ion get a flash upgrade for better hd youtube playback?

i hope so, this is the only thing holding me back from buying

  • Yes, flash with ion support will come out in the next weeks.

  • Is there a release date for the new Flash version?

  • Nope. Hope they will at least release a Beta quickly.

  • Wirklich geile Aussprache, man hört deine Herkunft echt nicht raus. ;)

  • HI Inter. The Ironman video comes from a mkv file. Just changed it with mkv2vob so that I can put it on a external usb hdd formated in fat, so that I can watch it on ps3. It was 1080p. I have CS4 on the Desktop pc but was not yet able to test it on the ion netbook.

  • Ah nope, both vids were 720p. But I think 1080p should be no problem at all.

  • Could you run a test with Photoshop on the Netbook please? I would see how much the size of the working space is and how fast it works with simple picture editing like cutting, contrast and color change and editing a raw file. The same with Dreamweaver, I need to know the size of the code-view and srolling speed in large scripts.

Wie ich sehe könnten wir auf Deutsch schreiben wa? ;-)

  • It would be great to see how the N510 is playing 1080p content from a .mkv and .mov file.

Does you already tested Photoshop CS3/4 and Dreamweaver on it?

    Thanks for your Work!

  • No CS or else tested by now. Actually I have now clue what and how to test. Any ideas?

  • I think you could only make another video which show the time which Photoshop needs for different operations like starting, loading a .psd file, loading a jpg. file, resize, working with layers and saving. The same with Dreamweaver (scrolling, starting time, saving, preview in browser).

To work with Photoshop is very interesting because the CS4 version uses first time the ION Chip to support the CPU.
