This song describes me so much.I don't really listen to christians songs but i love this song.I'm only 16 but i had to grow up so fast and i never was cared for at home.It seem no one has ever seen the real me or no one cared for me or even heard me.I have been running the wrong road but i try so hard to take the right road though.I just wish someone can see me for who i really am!!
@rotckid its very easy to judge from the outside, consider the fact that almost all the human beings ignore / reject the ones not like themselves (thats one big reason the society is not pacific), christian faith encourage us to take care about the ones not like ourselves an we can be good or bad practicers - as this song recalls there are moments in "her" (any human) life for a desperate need for Gods help, (regardless the mocks or rejection to that God), and this is when church must show in

We must not value the praise of men more than the praise of God (John 12:43). In the body of Christ we all have a purpose. For some of us that purpose is to serve others (Romans 12:3-8). God has commanded us to love others as we love ourselves and to serve one another humbly in love (Gal. 5:13-14).
I had a girlfriend who introduced me to this song. It brought tears to my eyes and made me see her, and myself in a different way, a more compassionate way. I thought of it as our song, we were both running 100 miles an hour in the wrong direction. We went to a contemporary church together a few times however I had to move to a differnt state because of my old job. I don't see or hear from her anymore, and listening to this song has brought tears to my eyes once again.

Maybe more people would be attending church if some Christians just stopped judging people based on looks. You don't know his/her past. Never judge a book by it's cover. I myself am Non-Denominational Christian and yes, I've judged, but who hasn't? The point is that when it comes to church, everyone is welcome.
@Xown95 I completely agree. Too many times, I've seen people been driven away from church because they've had experiences with churches that have judged them in the past.
these songs are beutiful. i will say that im not a big fan of christian bands when litening on my ipod or radio but when i am at a concert i feel so much power i could cry. when i am so consumed by my love for God and his love for me it makes me so happy. i am blessed to have grown up in a christian home to not have to search for something to fill the empty space that only Jesus can fill.
This is exactly why I'm not in church anymore, so tired of being judged. Nothings ever good enough , how I raise my six children or how I keep my house, nothing.

@IzaJavo I have been where you are, recently, deep depression, God opened my eyes that it was unforgiveness towards those that hurt me, i was holding on to was keeping me depressed. I chose to let go, when I did it was over, no more depression! Yes there are non believers and people that go to church that sin, but that does not effect who we are supposed to be. Jesus loves us all!
if you read mere christanity, by cslewis, its a wonderful book, he doesnt judge the diffrent religions and i think u would enjoy it, as for people of God judging you , that will always happen, i am a christian and other Christians still judge me, ive learned to to care what they think and live my beliefe in Gof to the fullest, you dontneed to go to church every sunday, but if you ask God into your heart you will be saved eternally but you have to ask hi, and mean it.

God loves you. Not religion is important, but the God, who cares us. If you really believe him, and give your life to him, your heart is chanching. One day you will go to the heaven. But if you just love realigion are no diferrent during you and person, who not believe. No one man or woman are all thing done right, no one in the world are right. So withot God in our life we all go to hell. Because God is right judge.
Belief in religion is important, yes, but one doesn't have to conform to a religion to go to heaven. If god is what everyone says, kind, merciful, and forgiving; will he not forgive someone for not worshiping him every Sunday or everyday but they are still nice to those around them, helpful, understanding, and everything else? Will someone get into 'heaven' for believing in a religion but are cruel or go to 'hell' for not believing in a religion but being kind? You tell me.

@fruitpotpourri23 my biggest problem is being told im going to hell by those who think they know best and someone once told me the bible proves gods existence but i just want to point out that the bible was written by humans and thus i dont believe that to be evidence. when i was a full believer i never used the bible but would point out life, the rising sun, actual proof. not a book. @IzaJavo The best friend is the one who tells the truth. Jesus came on earth and told us the truth. That if we dont repent and follow Him our destination is eternal punishment. It's not to say that not going to church every Sunday is a sin. However, we are created to glorify Him, so we should do our best to do so every day. Obviously, we are not perfect, but we should still glorify and praise Him in all that we do. This touches my heart. I was that girl. I was away from God for so long, and I could feel myself getting further away from God with every passing year. I thought I was alone and afraid to have a voice. But JESUS saved me. Watching this video makes me have a heart for the lost. There are so many people out in the world that feel lost and alone, but instead of judging them, we need to assure them they are not alone, because there is a God that loves them and is always with them. I went to a church for a while and one morning I saw a girl about my age (19 or so) who looked like this girl. I invited her in and did what I was supposed to. I did this whenever I saw the opportunity. That church asked me to leave because of that......

@infidel2011 I've seen people of god judge. I went to a private school that believed in god and I got judged because I was agnostic and didn't fully believe in him. The THEOLOGY teachers treated me like crap because I would ask them questions that went against their beliefs or questioned their beliefs and would steer away from answering them. My grandmother told me I'm going to hell for being agnostic. How is that not judgemental?

@clownmasters ive learned not to give a crap what people think or say about me. i would pray, hoping for an answer, and when i didnt get one i went deeper into my depression until finally i said fuck it (pardon the language) and started doing stuff on my own. learning the hard way and finding my own path. miracles can happen they just seemed to never happen to me until i decided no one will help me but myself.
@IzaJavo I understand that you may feel so abandoned at this point, by loved ones and even our loving God. Trust me, I felt the same way. There were points where I cursed out at God cause of the living cr*p i've been going through cause i felt like nobody just cared. But i went to a retreat, giving my God a one and last chance, cause i was just so tired of it all. That very next day, he healed me telling me He really cares

Just recently at a Youth group the sermon really touched me. It was was about people saying they are Christians, but not living the life God designed for them. So the youth pastor offered for some of the leaders to stay and talk to you and pray if you wanted it. I went up and the pastors wife came up. So we talked for a while and she prayed for me. Later that evening I went to my friend's house and her parents prayed for me. I am still struggling to keep with God though... Pray for me.
ive been going to church all my life, i few yrs ago i started going to a different church and the youth group didnt like me...the first week, i was completely ignored , after that... one day after church, some of the kids beat me up. i could have beaten them, it would have been easy, but i knew god wouldnt want me to fight at his home so i just put up with it..

At the age of 7 I was raped in the school bathroom stall by a group of girls. I became addicted to porn from 7 to 16. I was a webcam stripper from the age of 11 to 16, I've been engaged 3 times to 3 different men, I only gave myself to one, I'm only 19. I've been abused, had death threats from one of my ex's. Recently my previous ex cheated on me last month. I once again spiraled into sexual sin in retalation from pain. Im now back to God... So i can tell you. HE HEARS YOU! Because he heard me.
What makes me sad is when she tries to go to church then the lady gives her a bad look. We should accept all people, from all walks of life. If every church did this then the service would be pretty empty. My pastor was going down a bad path. Does that mean we should have sent him away? No!

@IzaJavo I have been where you are, recently, deep depression, God opened my eyes that it was unforgiveness towards those that hurt me, i was holding on to was keeping me depressed. I chose to let go, when I did it was over, no more depression! Yes there are non believers and people that go to church that sin, but that does not effect who we are supposed to be. Jesus loves us all!

if you read mere christanity, by cslewis, its a wonderful book, he doesnt judge the diffrent religions and i think u would enjoy it, as for people of God judging you , that will always happen, i am a christian and other Christians still judge me, ive learned to to care what they think and live my beliefe in Gof to the fullest, you dontneed to go to church every sunday, but if you ask God into your heart you will be saved eternally but you have to ask hi, and mean it.

You think she not saved by what authority do you judge who is saved and who is not. Where were you at beganing of time? God presence is where person praises him. True worship comes from the heart. Belief in religion is important, yes, but one doesn't have to conform to a religion to go to heaven. If god is what everyone says, kind, merciful, and forgiving; will he not forgive someone for not worshiping him every Sunday or everyday but they are still nice to those around them, helpful, understanding, and everything else? Will someone get into 'heaven' for believing in a religion but are cruel or go to 'hell' for not believing in a religion but being kind? You tell me.

Also, God forgives those who repent. If someone sins while thinking, "Oh, I can just go ahead and do this because God will forgive me," they are not going to truly repent for their sin.

It's not to say that not going to church every Sunday is a sin. However, we are created to glorify Him, so we should do our best to do so every day. Obviously, we are not perfect, but we should still glorify and praise Him in all that we do. I want to write more, but YouTube has a character limit that has already made me split this into two posts.. Feel free to agree, disagree, question. I see questions and answers about God, faith, etc. to be a way to strengthen our personal faith. ♥

This touches my heart. I was that girl. I was away from God for so long, and I could feel myself getting further away from God with every passing year. I thought I was alone and afraid to have a voice. But JESUS saved me. Watching this video makes me have a heart for the lost. There are so many people out in the world that feel lost and alone, but instead of judging them, we need to assure them they are not alone, because there is a God that loves them and is always with them. Im 13, I used to be athiest as well, I didnt believe in god, i went to my first church service a year ago, i felt like i was gonna get judged, know im in the church, im going to youth group, and im going to get Commemorated to Floris United Methodist next year. @infidel2011 I've seen people of god judge. I went to a private school that believed in god and I got judged because I was agnostic and didn't fully believe in him. The THEOLOGY teachers treated me like crap because I would ask them questions that went against their beliefs or questioned their beliefs and would steer away from answering them. My grandmother told me I'm going to hell for being agnostic. How is that not judgemental?

@clownmasters ive learned not to give a crap what people think or say about me. i would pray, hoping for an answer, and when i didnt get one i went deeper into my depression until finally i said fuck it (pardon the language) and started doing stuff on my own. learning the hard way and finding my own path. miracles can happen they just seemed to never happen to me until i decided no one will help me but myself.

She wants to go to church because it's like going to the park for her--she cannot grasp any deep theology at this point, and trying to teach any child religion is wrong. Just recently at a Youth group the sermon really touched me. It was was about people saying they are Christians, but not living the life God designed for them. So the youth pastor offered for some of the leaders to stay and talk to you and pray if you wanted it. I went up and the pastors wife came up. So we talked for a while and she prayed for me. Later that evening I went to my friend's house and her parents prayed for me. I am still struggling to keep with God though... Pray for me.

Recently my previous ex cheated on me last month. I once again spiraled into sexual sin in retalation from pain. Im now back to God... So i can tell you. HE HEARS YOU! Because he heard me.

What makes me sad is when she tries to go to church then the lady gives her a bad look. We should accept all people, from all walks of life. If every church did this then the service would be pretty empty. My pastor was going down a bad path. Does that mean we should have sent him away? No!

@chimilla1 I am very sorry that the church treated you like that. We Christians have to remind ourselves that we are no better. I also remember back then when I was rejected by church people. I want to ask for your forgiveness on behalf of any and all Christians who have disobeyed Jesus' commandment to love each other.
