  • if only the crowd came with a mute button/off switch so you can mute every single one of them and only hear what's going on with the performers until their performance is finished. *wishful thinking*

not sure why i'm watching this again. probably to psych up for 2012 olympic games. i hope london doesn't disappoint.

  • This boring me! There is noting about olympic games.

  • time for East > West

    Eastern morals > western morals

    would be nice

  • @HanmoLi the video killed me when it ended before the lights turned off

  • What did you use to record this with? Its amazing!

  • @LoveAddictREmix just a simple compact point-and-shoot canon

  • It's great that China is growing. I just wish they didn't have the totalitarian system of government that they do.

  • Losers get jealous when they see China is growing.

  • @zazaza888 How can people be jealous of that growth when it just means less resources and poorer living conditions for the people of China?

  • @PersephoneArtemis you know better. hahaha!

  • 1:25 there make some of them a mistake with bending

i think they have been killed after the performance

  • @NTI1 where???

  • @Buckleyjd look closely

  • @NTI1

your opinion is laughable and Stupid

china is a state that developing to Democracy and Prosperous

it is a friendly country,it have many people that hope to make friend with other people in other country, please stop your speech that to slander china!

  • @ASUKALOVER824 i was just joking

  • @ASUKALOVER824 "democracy"? the 2010 nobel peace prize winner, liu xiaobo is currently in a prison and being tortured. this is no "democracy". china is a communist totalitarian state.

  • Wait, I have watched since part one and I thought it was a whole bunch of lamps, but now it looks like its people....so which is it?

  • @contact1araya 2008 drummers

  • they trained on dance dance revolution

    best opening ceremony ever

  • This was ingenuous with amazing precision. But Vancouvers opening was entirely different, and just as captivating with an extraordinary combination of creative grace, nature, beauty and the human spirit.

  • yo wtf does politics have to do with this video? if you want to talk about politics go fuck on other video, douche bags these days....

  • lol so much political chat here

  • Beijing Olympic game was supported by over 97% Chinese public! For those China haters and racists, if you are against Beijing Olympics, you are abusing and violating over 1 billion Chinese peoples HUMAN RIGHTS! You are the biggest anti human rights barbarians in the entire solar system! Taking down your self-claimed "human rights" hypocritic ugly faces, you are true barbarians.

  • @russiangymfan. its doesn't matter it was supported by 97% of chinese public. it only matters if it was supported by the chinese communist leadership. 97% of chinese public opposed the killing of tiananmen square protesters. so what? that decision like everything else in china is determined by the communist party. as an average chinese person, your opinion doesn't matter.

  • Do you have a law degree? World politics-related certificate? Even a high school graduation proof? Or something called a brain?

Now the very fact you're not the Secretary General of the United Nations, even the President of the United States, or even a senator, is the exact proof you don't qualify to make the decision of who's good or bad.

You're just the average emo couch potato who stare at his screens all day waiting for a reply comment, because you find the dissing fun.

    Yeah, GET A LIFE.

  • @xuci111111 i agree one shouldn't have any opinion unless you have a PhD in the field.

  • @billjesusgates, I agree public opinion is pointless but sadly CCP now days are more in touch with Chinese people than the u.s government with average American. This is the truth, most Chinese think democracy will never work in China with 1.3 billion population, it will only create chaos and disunity, secondly they do support CCP at the moment. The quick rise of China is possible because of one party rule, when there is not a 2nd party standing in the way trying to block anything one party does.

  • @billjesusgates, You are right about one thing, this is 2010. But the Maoist and Marxist version of pure social and communism you defined only exist in books and are not used by the current CCP. The party itself knows the old ideology doesn't work and It has everything to with being in touch with people by allowing the economy to more capitalistic than any other country. In reality, there is little communism and socialism left in China, only one party rule and the people do like it.

  • @JZSNtelpy, oh i see. communism is a failure. mao was wrong and a just plain old mass murder and his communist party is illegitimate. thanks for clearing things up.

  • @billjesusgates, Of course, the CCP were wrong, but that was past tense, you are wrong now to come here on a simple Olympic video to stir up the past to create new hatred and discontent when you don't even live in China. You are a typical anti anything Chinese, when you see China make a progress such as this, it makes you feel uncomfortable and all you can do is to troll youtube and use the past to drive your agenda.

  • @JZSNtelpy where do i say anything bad about china? i said bad things about CCP. people don't hate the germans, they hate the nazis. btw, your expectations are so low that having a factory to produce crap for walmarts is called progress. any idiot could have figured that out during the 1960s. but CCP was too busy murdering millions of people in order to create a workers' paradise to figure that out. but to you, that's OK. me, i got a higher standard. long live chairman mao.

  • @billjesusgates,WOW good job spinning off topic here. You ask me where did u mention bad about China. So, I ask you did I mention anything about walmarts? I said progress such as this, meaning having hosted a top notch Olympics. Now that's high standard. You still keeping mentioning and going back to the 1960s and reference Mao who's dead now for almost half of a century. A person like you who dwells in the past and are in complete denial of the present is pathetic.

  • @JZSNtelpy congrulation on the china's new noble prize winner, liu xiaobo. too bad he's in a prison, being tortured. yeah, mao is dead, but chinese communism is alive and well.

  • @billjesusgates Thank you for sharing your egotistical, self-righteous view with us. Noble prize is joke, Ale Gore, Obama, and Yasser Arafat?? Keep working hard troll, the prize will soon fall down to your level.

  • @billjesusgates Obama got a peace prize too XD. Face it Nobel prize has political agenda, and racial prejudice, much like its namesake's other invention, people misused it.

  • Communism is bad... Olimpic games is good! Simple: both are different things!

  • @meyoungjin15

    Care to define Communism?

Have you got a good dictionary?

Let's see what have you got on this?

(Try not to shame us Americans, sports!)

  • umm i am american.

im just saying that communism has much more discipline, thats y china is able too pull of such feats in such a short time.

  • @meyoungjin15

    Okay, we're cool.

Couldn't tell what you meant with just that one line you wrote.

  • yeah. cause they made all these shows and stadiums in just 4 years. thats crazy

  • Alright! Okay! Now rest easy!!!

    I said we're cool!

  • haha my bad

  • China never disappoint its visitors ^^

  • wow in china its like alot ALOT of people...

  • cool

  • I don't care what the China basher said, this is simply amazing. It is going to be hard for any country to match the scale and quality of the opening ceremony like what China did.

  • MONKEY IDIOT billjesusgates is making MONKEY COMMENT here. Go away MONKEY IDIOT billjesusgates!! No one like you! Your life is miserable every where you go. Crawl back to the hole you came from!

  • Only China can create such a massive performance with precision and beauty.

  • I reckon the main thing is that Chinese people are willing and hardworking enough to carry out something as perfect as this.

  • That's what i call discipline

  • I agree. It's hard to not have discipline or work hard when there are 1.6 Billion people vying for the same jobs and resources. One smart person can easily be replaced by 10 others who can do the same job. Out of the 3 components of development, labour capital and technology, this country has a definite advantage on labour.

  • @groovingsoul Until the U.S. host the Olympics again...and we won't force our performers to wear diapers!

  • your so lucky
