  • That can produce phosgene gas so you wouldnt wanna inhale that stuff after being heated...

  • Should there be no change in color as well from the flame? R12 should have a greenish yellow or blue hue correct?

  • @zappatx It did not ignite but yes chlorinated alkyl halides usually give off a blue green flame when oxidized in a flame.
