@sdcaljoe it showed the last surviver, ottway, laying on top of the alpha wolf while the wolf was barely breathing. I'm assuming the wolf is close to dead, but the fact that ottway was laying on top of it leads me to believe that ottway was either resting or is very injured and couldn't walk. Either way, ottway "won".

For all the haters, wolves attack peiple near their den, because their threats. When you keep getting closer the get more pissed off. If a bear were in your yard would you just let it be? No. You would kill it to protect your family. Same thing with these wolves, by the way they only eat one human. Of 7.

Saw the movie and claim it as great. I'll see it again this week. Most of the people bitching are probably veggie, vegan tree-huggers or just crude and have an immature style view on film. 90% nagging haven't seen this or are too prideful to give in to believing that this isn't anything past three stars. Some who HAVE seen it think that it's pseudo-deep which I disagree with but are you paying attention - it's Liam Neeson. Don't you idiots still quote that phone call in Taken? Come on.

The movie was really great, and there is a MAJOR plot twist at the end where I don't think NO ONE saw coming. Very suspenseful. Oh and stay after the credits, it solves the cliff hanger to those who left when the credits started rolling. :)

I think they made it fairly clear that the wolves were acting in self defense, since the plane crashed within their territory. I think it is also fairly clear that the director was taking some dramatic license. Realistically? The wolves win every time. All in all i thought it was a great film, very intense.

Wolves do not eat men. There is no documented account of a healthy wolf ever attacking a human being. On the food chain wolves see us as peer predators and treat us with corresponding respect. If they followed such a pack of men at all it would be because they assumed that the men were looking for edible ruminants, just as the wolves are doing.

Liam makes himself a laughing stock in this role.
