One question! I love to fly the aerosoft F-16 despite a lot of their "inops". A lot of thinks that don't work. How do you use the GPS for instance?

Anyway my real question. I have 64bit version of FSX and i dont think that TrackIR 4 Pro works with this, because everything just jumps up and down and turns around. Do you use 32bit or 64bit FSX?

@DjankoDK i used 64 bit os and yes it does work you need to calibrate it i think it's f10 or f9 or f12 i cant remember the key to recalibrate.

@jr4460 fsx is not a good sim at all it was created by microsoft hence FAIL but it had huge potential. This game is dead and that is why Microsoft abandoned it. They made this game to utilize cpu (i know dumb right?) instead of gpu.

@flightrulez no no matter what video cards you buy you will never get smooth high frame rates because this game was poorly coded by microsux that's why they stopped making it because no body wants to play it due to lag.

THey coded the game for CPU instead of using GPU that was there biggest mistakes. After 10 years people stopped buying the game.

Never buy ATI they are owned by the lame AMD company, they hardly bring out driver updates you have to wait 2 or more months before they would release any updates for drivers.

Stick with Nvidia it has CUDA very good for video encoding. ATI cant encode video.

When we made this clip, we had Alienware 2009 ALX Overclocked around 3.2 Ghz with 12 gig ram and Dual Nvidia GTX 295's in SLi Mode.

And we still lag like hell with very low FPS from 12 to 40 FPS depending on where we are on the map. This is the reason why we ditched Microsux Flight Sims they have no idea how to make flight sims.

Microsux made this game dependent on CPU power and not much on GPU. They got greedy because a lot of people couldn't afford fast GPUs so they marketed this game on CPU instead.

This is the reason why it became unpopular forcing MicroSux to abandon their stupidity.

Excellent clip, I am an FSX Addict and am never off it for very long, I have rex and would not use the sim without it now... i get reasonable fps that i cant complain about. If you like flight sim then you will find ways to overcome fps, to top it all this clip has Santana music, woohoo, my fav band... more movie clips like this please.

That's like comparing Lock-On to Open Falcon. Have you ever heard of OPEN FALCON? I'm assuming not but I may be wrong. Look into it. And why waste $3-4k on a P.O.S. Alienware (DELL) when you could build a better gaming system for 1/4 of the price?

Nice vid, but you really dont seem to know what you're on about! lol :p I have this game, heavy add-on scenery, and it doesn't run laggy at all...its your computer. Full stop. Not the game. As for the boring bit...anything gets boring if you dont enjoy what you are doing. I personally love this game, its fun, I am part of a virtual airline, and I use it as a training tool in conjunction with my real-world flight training. It's a fantastic tool, and a great sim. Use it properly! :)

well the graph and many addons are great for this sim and i respect the companies too aerosoft captsim and many many more. but the dynamic and psyhic for formation and display are not the best and i dont wonder why 99% of display teams are fly on Virtual Festival Of Aerobatic Teams(Lock On 1.112a/b world) which is provided and sponsored by Interroute every pilot who i talked they are all told me that formation is hard to fly here and its not stable as in lock on.

ohh and miss gigglinggirl i agree with the code system of graphic and stuff and cpu issue but its only 1 problem of many well my first opinion that the sim looks nice with graphic addons planes and cities and airoports and with many many more things but when i first wanted to fly formation with a team we recognise that the fly dynamic is not the best for formation and siplay flight soo many teams and people settled down in lock on 1.12 world and do display flights and airshows in VFAT
