  • Always loved this song, and for some reason today it sounds slightly Peter Gabriel(ish) ?

  • awesome song !!!

  • See him live... Did last night... He is hilarious... Great storyteller!

  • Worst video ever.

    Like the song, though,

  • Thank you so much for posting this!! This was one of my favorite post-Men songs, and the only version that was on here had poor video and audio. Awesome!

  • Sia Furler's uncle? Great!

  • Excellent Song And Video From Circa 1987. Colin Hays First Solo Album After MAW disbanded. After Seeing This Video, I Wonder If Colin Had Practiced The Martial Arts?

  • God, its like a bad 'Fish' from Marillion - and he was mighty bad.

  • i love this video...great job

  • fukn shite.

  • @walker44444 you couldn't come anywhere close...even if your life depended on it. Keep your ignorant comments to yourself

  • Ha ha

ooooh, very touchy aren't we. How the hell would you know what musical talents I may or may not have? Now shut it ya tosser.

    Song is still fukn shite.

  • @walker44444

take the song for what it is and leave...

its an 80's classic with a great start - upto 1 min in its great then goes all generic...

not colins best by any means... but still better then most

  • Yeah, I was looking for Men at Work & have since only recently discovered Colin Hay who overwhelms me with all these fabulous songs. The chorus is very catchy to this song. As for the video, I like it. He's just having a bit of frivolous fun. The words aren't deep & meaningful to this one so he can let loose & have some fun. Why not? Musicians & artists can do things we plebs can't do lol.

  • Very good song. Thanks for the upload.

  • Creepiest smile ever!!!

The bad CG head makes him look like a chimpanzee

BTW what is that background? African? Aborginie? Some Paul Simon-Graceland ripoff?

  • @erniehead Peter Gabriel?

  • I never heard this song before, must a been like 300 on the billboard charts back then.

  • decent song but wow this video can come across as creepy and/or just odd.

  • @wzx33

isn't this is the kind of video that someone does when they have lost a bet?

  • @wzx33 lmao ........yeah it is kinda odd / creepy lol and decent

  • it's a real classic, I remember 1987.-))))

  • been looking for this for ages . brilliant.fijian harmony makes it

  • collins austrail-scottish

makes for a great singing voice !

  • great musician. just started getting into him, funnily enough because of scrubs XD

  • @220891nb hahaha same:O

  • I like this song and this album but this video is crazy. Colin is still cranking out the albums...his latest cd "American Sunshine" is incredible. Do yourself a favor and check it out.

  • BRILLIANT!!! Good taste!

  • When did Colin Hay turn into John Waite?

  • Great song, thanks for posting it!

  • Great little song which would probably have been a hit had it been a Men At Work release. This one only reached #99 on Billboard in 1987. "Looking For Jack" is a good album, though.

  • @jimbailey69 the best fish slip through the net ;)

  • Air Supply is crappy wimp-rock. Men At Work had some grit.

  • wack in a good way -.-

  • I beg to differ...i think the video and song are both awesome...

  • chorographie is wack

  • how old is this?

  • 1987, came off his solo album "Looking for Jack"

  • 1987

  • Haven't heard this song in years....

    Thanks for posting.

  • I love this song but honestly the vid scares me. lol drill team??

  • CJH lives on, keep singing Colin!

  • Transcendental Highway is a great one..

  • now way! there was a video to this???!!!

looking for jack was a underrated album. great introductory album for fans of menatwork that want to move on to colin hays solo work!

  • indeed it is.

I think 1994's "Topanga" and his latest "Are You Lookin' At Me?" are also very good choice to start knowing his solo work.

  • I loved Men At Work, and as soon as this came out, I went out and bought the cassette. Yes, cassette. I could only hope to find this on CD now... What a great album it was! Not a bad track.. Thanks for posting!!!

  • Someone on E Bay probably has this one. I think thats how I got the CD

  • Oh, please. Bubble gum garbage. Midnight Oil, Icehouse, Mental as Anything, Real Life, AC/DC, and even The Wiggles and INXS are far better Aussie representatives...

  • He's Scottish

  • Well, yes. Moved to Austrailia at 14. My apologies for pushing Men At Work's Austrailian label on him. SInce he is now solo, I should consider him a Scottish artist. Or at the very least a Scottish-Autrailian artist living in California....

  • Still awesome though. Not sure about this film clip and the Karate moves!

  • wow this is freaky.

  • I saw him in Concert a couple of years ago and he is so funny!

    A great show

  • Had the cassette, "Looking for Jack." Thanks, nice memories.

  • such a great song, always loved this one, his voice goes off in this wild song !!!!

  • Inspiring song!

  • I remember seeing it a couple of times on MTV back in about 87. I remember looking for the album and not being able to find it. The video was well done, like so many of the era.

  • Don't think I'd ever seen this one; was this his first solo video. It is definitely interesting!
