  • fingerrr....... oh my god you cunt

  • Man, I have to tell you, I love these videos, but every time you say "finger", I just want to put my fist in your face so badly

  • I'm so glad i watched this video. I followed all the steps and everything works great..Thanks for sharing these videos..

  • ive had my 60gb ps3 since release date now, and its finally packed up. i dont get yellow light, but the console turns itself off, then starts to flash red. is this definitely the same problem as yellow then red?? i have 100s of pounds worth of downloads and my account is already active on 4 consoles meaning this is the last one, and i just want to know if youre positive this will work. i would be happy and very grateful if people would let me know if this works please :)

  • what if you go to turn on the ps3 and it stays green

  • i seem to get the best results when i used my FINGER other than all that non sense with the card so i actual just used my FINGER

  • Serious Question: I called sony and they said it was the disk drive that broke. but you fixed something else?why is that? Im about to buy all the stuff and i want to make sure i"m doing this for a reason

  • @LuCaSfReNcHfRi whats wrong with it if you are getting green yellow red its not the disc drive they just want you to send it in so they can get that money

  • @scoeas1982 no shit..

    got it myself -.-

  • when u put the board on ur tv, u dont scared of static? or its no problem at all.

  • I heard spreading it is detrimental in the long run. The spread begins to bubble and over flow onto the mother board. Is this true? I heard of the single pea method where you place a single dot of arctic silver in the middle and that's it.

  • Hey man thx alot for the video, well done... Just have a question though, I did the reflow and right after, the ps3 worked for about 3 minutes (literaly) then went straight back to the red light my fans werent turning on for some reason ( i had them plugged in). I did another reflow with an industrial heat gun just to come up to the same result. This time ps3 once again stayed on a litle while and back to red light right away.. Im pretty sure the solder on my board is scrap... 2nd opinion?any1

  • @l3rassl3alls Was it YLOD or Blinking Red Light? If it was the latter, I read somewhere that it could also be a faulty PCB on the Blu-ray. I haven't tried this so, can't vouch for it.....

  • i dont have a heat gun, can i put it into the oven instead?

  • I know what I'm saying is correct no matter what you think or have! Like I said Arctic Silver Co. Says DO NOT spread.use pea method. Because when you spread air gets trapped between the heatsink and GPU/CPU and cause air bubbles making the product not work properly! When using Pea method the heatsink will spread evenly across filling any air pockets in the process! If you ask me ,I think I'm very smart for my age

  • Heat gun DOES NOT get hot enough!!!!

  • @DontDenyTillUTry420 my heat gun gets up to 925 F , $15 at 925 u can literally see shit start melting, so mine is actually too hot

  • i dont have a heat gun now i have a good reason to get one and my lady wont be as mad

  • Thanks a sh¡t load! Luke a charm. First try.

  • One of my son's friends broke my PS3 and I definitely didn't want to go and get one of the newer ones~they don't have everything the originals do. So I did everything you said and YOU ROCK because my PS3 is working again! Thank you so much! I really appreciate all the time and effort you put into this!!

  • @KK6ofUs awesome glad to hear it

  • No disrespect intended... but what does "re-flowing" the chips actually do? I have experience with overheating laptops and I'm familiar with replacing the thermal compound but I've never heard of the re-flow concept.

  • @ShootME552 reflow is a short term for REFLOWING THE SOLDER UNDERNEATH THE CHIPS. Led free cracks and crumbles over time so this way you re-solidify it and get rid of the disconnection. Reapplying new thermal very rarely works, and i also do re-balls as well. BTW that was not disrespectful at all was a legit question in my opinon

  • Comment removed

  • Can i do this without using the pen thing and just using the thermal paste

  • post one for xbox360

  • I hate the part where the heatgun comes...

  • you kinda sound like adam sandler

  • is the thermal compound essential?

  • @ps3 lightfixer

Go advertise somewhere else. This isnt you'r video. Its like douche advertising by trying to steal someone elses current viewers WHILE they're viewing this

  • This isn't a bad idea, but I'll tell you right now, don't put on the thermal paste with your finger, that IS a bad idea. You want to use a nonpowdered glove, or at least a plastic bag, that isn't currently attracting static electricity. I prefer vinyl gloves, as I have a latex allergy. But putting it on with your fingers will no doubt result in your fingers natural oils getting mixed in with the Arctic Silver...making it less effective.

  • did u know thermal compound is carsernagenic canser cousing

  • if you dont want it on your finger tightly wrap a plastic bag around your finger so the surface is smooth then rub it in and just take off the plastic bag it may save you some thermal paste

  • @NorbertMumme

i will never take your youtube questionareee!!!!!!

  • yeah mate you are the man, followed your instructions but the only differance was that my heat gun puts out 520c not 350c, little less time and a bit further away and it worked the first time , how long will it last for ???? thanks heaps buddy legendary

  • The word ure looking for was, "your last fingering..." =D

Cool video thou, shalt try on my PS3... What kinda specific Flux Pen Applicator ure using...?

  • Well I got to say that you're fix was right on the money. I have a 80g that I bought when they 1st came out, and it was running like a champ till today. Watched you're fix and now it runs better than when I 1st brought it home. Thanks man. Damn YLOD can definitely kiss my ass.

  • @Emmasdaddy11 Just wondering, is your Ps3 still running?

  • thanks dude you fixed my ps3 man i thank u for your videos

  • @DaBlackXx87 Just wondering if your Ps3 is still working?

  • DO IT WITH YOUR FINGER!!!!!

  • my friends ps3 only give a red light and a beep for the rest nothing it wont start up help he just got the ps3 2 days and it wont boot up any help?!!

  • @mohamedght if he go it fixxed hold the button for like 10 sec

  • do you keep all the data on it

  • Oh, thanks! I never thought of that. So then hook it up with the RCA/PS3 plug first, then change settings? Thanks again.

  • Hello there. I've been watching your vids for about 3-4 days straight now because my PS3 died a couple days before Christmas. I have done everything your vids tell me. I tested to make sure my unit was working properly (and it was) before putting everything back together. Tonight, as soon as I got my console back together I hooked everything up and connected my HDMI cable. When I turned my TV on and selected the HDMI input the PS3 is connected to, the TV says "no signal". I took the PS3 back ap

  • Is that a chick noise on the background

  • @Angles786 yes its a chick that is lucky

  • @scoeas1982 you got chick :D

  • tried it your way for the first time and now my ps3 won't even power on! any ideas as to wats going on?

  • @MrSkumar5 yeah you did not do something right or you did not plug the power supply in correctly cuz you can break the board in half and put it back in there and it will still at least come on

  • @scoeas1982 Thanks for your speedy reply, i've checked the power supply many times and it is connected correctly, is it possible that there is permanent damage to the board do to over heating from the gun?

  • WHATS UR EMAIL ADDRESS? WORKN ON MINES. HAVIN PROBLEMS. MIGHT JUST PAY U 2FIX IT

  • @NorbertMumme this is wat this video is about ur just trying 2 get viewers

  • @garretts228 you are 100% right i do it the same as i do on my pc i just put a line in the midel and let the heatsing spred it 4 me it seems to well 4 me

  • @delboy22 Thats exactly how I do mine just put a dab in the middle and let the pressure from the heatsink spread out the thermal paste

  • om om whats the word im lookin for, om om om om, lol

  • Man how stoned do you sound, lol

  • i like you, you're nice. you have a relaxing voice and you have a house chicken which is cool.

  • hey man, thanks for the guide~

I have a question though, will it be alright if i use a hairdryer instead of heatgun for that heating part??

  • @Swarsh no a hair dryer does not get hot enough
