Nice video! Bluejays are one of the most beautiful birds I've seen. Cardinals are also amazing and quite stunning with their red plumage. What I like most about bluejays is the way they sound. They have a very unique "song". Also, they help keep squirrels out of our peach tree in the summer! Greetings to all of you.......from the Mile-high city!!!!!

Blue Jays are ruthless bullies of the bird world. I witnessed Blue Jays in my parent's yard landing in the nest of a Robin, knocking it's eggs out of the nest onto the ground and then laying their own and using the nest until their young grew up. They also attacked my parent's cat and it was really funny to watch the many many times it happened.

Blue Jays suck. We had a couple in a pine tree right in front of our house this spring. One day I found two dead Wood Thrushes on the porch next to each other and I'm pretty sure the Blue Jays were the culprit. Everybody always hates on Blue Jays. Yeah, they kick the other birds asses, but that's good on them. Blue Jays are proactive and know how to eliminate threats by pwning the nests of other birds and scaring them away from food sources with their superior size and teamwork.

It's always nice when natural selection favors something that's pretty, strong, and smart. May all Blue Jays live long and prosper, so that the skies of tomorrow will be filled with their beautiful azure plumage.

I'm trying to attract birds to my yard and I goggled a site that gave a chart of all the kinds of bird seeds that attracts different kinds of birds so I went out and got different kinds of bird seed but it's been 3 days now and all I've been getting are Squirrels. I'm kinda sad, can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong?

Get a squirrel-proof feeder. Squirrels scare birds so they keep a distance. You should also check the area maps for birds in your region. I recommend Bing.
