For years when I was a kid, our yellow budgie Margalo used to fly over to our gerbils' Habitrail cage and hang out on their roof. I don't think she ever pecked at the gerbs or the cage; I imagine her visits were merely done in furtherance of various conspiracies. Great video!

oh so cute i have a two budges and a syrian hammay and the only time that my hammy goes near the bird cage is when i do penut and seed rolls ( i lift her up to the seed) she is a pig

The Hamster climbed up and fell off all the time anyway.

The budgie wasn't biting (he never does) but lightly tapping at the bars with his beak (Like a budgie does while playing with a mirror or your finger.) The hamster's lack of fear of the budgie, despite this game being fairly common is testament to this.

The hamster lived to a ripe old age of nearly 3 years and was never injured by the budgie (or anyone else) My pets are all very well cared for. Thanks for your concern though
