  • I didnt click on to hear a commercial. stopped as soon as it appeared. wont be back.

  • PRAISE SCIENCE! 4000 years of terrible mistakens finally solved by western white boys saving me from the placebo of acupuncture therapy.

get your whole body electro-shocked NOW! receive the unforgettable feeling to be massaged and have a work-out at the same time with the Multi-Shocker 2000, provided to you by modern scientists.

"I never read anything about energys in our bodies. I can assure every client that there is no such thing as energies in the most fundamental books of modern medicine"

  • I think the technical application of Ulf Pape convincingly. See left relaxingart / Ulf Pape

  • well...the explanation i think is good but the technique "rolling" or Gun Fa in Chinese, I think is not well.... the wrist has to extend and come back....that is the movement wich will gave that rolling sensation to the pacient

  • I enjoy acupuncture and all the benefits. I was on medicine for a number of ailments but since acupuncture, my ailments are gone and I am medicine free and pain free.

  • While I think acupuncture may have some benefits... as someone completing a BSc in biology and pursuing a career in medicine, I can say that there is no such thing as Qi or Chi, or however it is spelt.

  • well...the circles on his back remind me of the DBZ dragonballs, lol

  • Chinese medicine also suggests slurping down a big ole tiger penis to improve your sex drive...just sayin'.

  • @_@ This looks painful but I'm sure I need it.

  • awesome,thanks!

  • the gun fa technique is orrible!

  • $10 says that gave 'Johnny' an erection.

  • Often times...

  • I don't know very much about things such as this, they interest me, but I cannot know If what I'm seeing is factual or not.

  • Some of the comments above come from people who clearly dont understand 4000 years of Chinese medicine. Ignorance is stupidity.

  • @MrMolly108 Believing in magic is stupidity. I believe in science.

  • @KANETREADWELL I believe in science too, and this is science. So why not believing?

  • @Shokukumi

"Acupuncture is a metaphysical one and there is no evidence for existence of this universal energy. There are no scientific instruments that can detect it. It seemingly can only be detected and adjusted by practitioners. It is not a falsifiable hypothesis and as such is meaningless."

There is no scientific evidence to back it up, it is at most a placebo.

Therefore not science, so that's "why not believing".

  • @KANETREADWELL

Fair enough, that argument I can agree on.

Though the effects are very real, so I don't really care much about the reality of the "source", whether it's Qi or some other energy, or just suggestive methods.

As long as it works, that's good enough for me to accept something as an official medicinal method.

  • @Shokukumi Okay, that is a good way of thinking. However, when the placebo is expensive, time consuming and potentially dangerous, then it is time to look for an alternative.

  • @KANETREADWELL Naturally. If I had blood pressure problems, I would take medicine, and acupuncture would be just an additional therapy method if I could afford it and felt good with it. However, while I think western medicine is the more secure way to deal with serious problems, I consider TCM much more gentle to the body (herbs, massage, acupuncture, ...). For (light to medium) sleep disorders, I would try to avoid strong medicaments and rather visit a Chinese medician.

  • @MrMolly108 I understand it. 4000 years of chinese medicine=placebo.

  • @MrMolly108 Trepanation is old as well, but you don't see many people drilling holes in their heads to let the demons out these days.

  • @MrMolly108 There are so many things wrong with your comment it's comical. Number 1: ignorance is not stupidity, if you weren't stupid you would know the difference between the two. Number 2: medical practices, like bloodletting, are old also but I'm willing to bet you don't stupidly argue in favor of those now do you.

  • @MrMolly108 Just because something has been around for thousands of years doesn't make it true. It becomes true when it is scientifically validated - much of Chinese medicine has not been proven by science. It's sort of like religion: nothing to suggest it is true, except for those ignorant enough to not question it.

  • i wouldnt want my back to look like that wtf
