u absolutely right, but CoD will be killed soon I think. Games like Battlefield and MoH gives u the same things, but with better graphics and really good story (story in CoD horrible, and so stupid, I know this because I live in Russia :)) sorry for my english
I honestly don't care about popular games, I play what I want to play. I mean, it's bad enough that the shooter games have become the defining genre of videogames(like how platformers were in the 90s except they were really fun) to the extent philosophical games like The World Ends With You get severely unrecognized. I have nothing against call of duty but it just doesn't seem very unique. whereas even on the surface of the game TWEWY is very unique especially with it's emphasis on urban life
I think if they had discovered the Call Of Duty formula last gen and had just relied on it all the way to the present it would be as dead as Guitar Hero.
@dadman1988 I didn't think about that, how could I have missed it. I agree with you 100% on the Gutiar Hero thing, And I have been saying to all my friends that this was the last big call of duty. I think from this point on the sales will drop untill it goes the way of GH and Tony hawk before it!
no in my opinion because you cant play online on a PS2 well you can play online on it but some people really don't know how to set up online on a PS2.
@SplitzMen Yes this is ture ps2 online was terrible for most people, so if call of dutys online became just as popular back then the only place they could play it would have been the xbox, because live was pretty good even back then as far as games are concerned. With Halo 2 & COD back then xbox would have pulled way ahead. Atleast thats what I think lol

Nope, it's actually starting to die out since it's been the same for 5 years and intelligent people don't want to waste their money on a game that doesn't add anything new to the gaming industry but offers the same exact experience every single time, so there is no point buying the next one.
