This is one of those wins that is very stupid and not making any sense at all, and was only because of politics. The same thing happened with Tommy Lee Jones winning his truly undeserved Oscar for ther Fugitive. Don't get me wrong, Little Miss Sunshine is one of my al time favorite comedies and Alan and Abby were superb, but all the other nominees (Even Wahlberg) blew Alan out of the water with their far superior performances. This felt like the 1993 Oscars with best Supporting Actor.

He was basically doing a James Brown impression in Dreamgirls. The real compeition, in my opinion, was between Haley and Dimon Honsu (don't know how to spell his name).
