When I was a child my family and I spend our holiday in Swat valley once. It was a great experience. Inshallah I will spend my next holiday in Swat valley.
People of Swat are very nice people, and they welcome everyone from Pakistan to spend their holidays in Swat. Real Swatis would understand me.
This looks beautiful but is there still a lot of conflict in the area? My friend wants me to go there with him to meet his family, I'm a little scared as I've heard there is still trouble there.
@robanty83 the security situation is much better now and Talibans have either left the valley or living in hiding. Foreigners should still be very careful and avoid visiting public or remote areas. Your friend would certainly not like to put you in a difficult situation, but you should also think well and take necessary information and precaution before deciding about the trip.

If you look at the current situation of Tribal Areas and Malakand, what MQM (Altaf Mafia) is doing in Karachi and Balochistan is asking for rights. All these dont create a good picture of the future of Pakistan and this might be the beginning of the disintegration plan. This will not be in our benefits and we Pashtuns will lose most.

It is hard to accept but the truth is that our security agencies are not capable enough to fight terrorists. Pak Army has been present in the valley for more than two years but the situation has not improved. There had been cases when people stood against Talibans on the hope that Army will help them to fight Talibans, but they were denied assistance and eventually got killed. The recent attack on Sri Lankan Cricket team also puts a big question mark on the competency of our security agencies.

Actually all of them have their role, primarily Fazzlullah who propogated a violant comaign thourh his FM channel and he is the main culprit for the current situation of Swat. In the beginning an SHO could have easily sent him to Jail but apparently our Agencies (of Musharaf gov.) wanted to deteriorate the situation for their own interests. Fazzlullah was never questioned for operating an illegal FM channel for years.

It is hard to accept but the truth is that our security agencies are not capable enough to fight terrorists. Pak Army has been present in the valley for more than two years but the situation has not improved. There had been cases when people stood against Talibans on the hope that Army will help them to fight Talibans, but they were denied assistance and eventually got killed. The recent attack on Sri Lankan Cricket team also puts a big question mark on the competency of our security agencies.

Actually all of them have their role, primarily Fazzlullah who propogated a violant comaign thourh his FM channel and he is the main culprit for the current situation of Swat. In the beginning an SHO could have easily sent him to Jail but apparently our Agencies (of Musharaf gov.) wanted to deteriorate the situation for their own interests. Fazzlullah was never questioned for operating an illegal FM channel for years.
Baitullah group is operating in Tribal areas but he does support Fazzlullah.

Several occasions have proved sick persons behind this game, but it makes me wonder why people not understand their own interest, and still appreciating conspiracy hands.
You are right there isnt only one agencies working behind in this death game but plenty of hidden hands are investing billon of dollars for their own interest and consequently they succeeded.
