  • I'm Jersy born & raised! Love it! So happy NOT to see Snookie or the Housewives of BC....but don't forget us up here in Bergen...it's still a beautiful place!!!

  • Very well done, this from a Texan

  • 3:43 thats my home.. I love NJ

  • Does anyone know what beach it is that the red headed boy is on at 1.10 in the video?

  • @nsw1022...this looks like a private beach for residents that live in that area only, not sure tho. I see the little water tower, flag..made me think it looks like near Ocean twp, Lafayette, Seaside Heights is a bit farther down south...I think...Paul, correct me if I'm wrong.

I love driving farther down the shore (I'm from the shore), I love NJ!!

  • Fantastic! When you work on part II, get more of north Jersey in there! What about White Manna in Hackensack? How about the USS Ling, all the fantastic malls in north Jersey.

  • Great Video !!! New Jersey is an awesome place and Paul nailed it. Paul Czekaj rocks.

    Paul should make more videos.

  • @LivloopFantage

"Baddest" is old school north Jersey slang for great, very cool, outasite, etc!

  • You need to write mor!! This is awesome!! (3rd comment on this video!! XD )

  • @MovieStar4 I'm so glad you liked my video.I'm working on a sequel to My Home N J as we speak. So many people loved what I had included about Jersey, but wanted to see more. There's only so much you can get in 4 minutes.I'm going to include farms, state parks, concert halls, eating places, fun places to go etc, and more history of Jersey. There will be all new words too. I'll be uploading a live radio interview playing three original songs plus some other live band clips this week. Paul

  • @PaulCzekaj That sounds great!! I am really looking foward to hearing it!

  • @PaulCzekaj ,,,very cool!

  • This is so sad. Bagels do not come from New Jersey, nor does pizza or hot girls. New jersey does not have a lock on great beaches. Let's face it, New Jersey. You just want to be New York.

  • @jjjfisher123 r u kidding me? I do not give a fuck about NYC who the fuck wants to be New York ..gimme a break ,,...I am proud 2 be in NJ and NJ rocks

  • Thanks for the video...Now I am homesick.

  • Any of the east coast states I really like, but if there is one I like to pick out of them all, its gotta be NJ.... my home is AWESOME!!

  • Good video about where I was born and raised... But when you're rafting on the Delaware you're probably crossing back and forth between Pa. and NJ. See ya all down by the river next summer!

  • Gotta admit, Jersey's the baddest!!!

  • Good song.

Left out Revolution War history. Biggest battle of war in terms of numbers was Monmouth Freehold.

  • Hey... NJ isn't just the Turnpike, the Beach, and that zone around NYC. I didn't see anything from the southwest representing here. We're Jersey, too, even if we usually say "South Jersey".

  • I was born in NJ and moved away in 2005 and I am still where I moved since then. I still really miss the nice green grasses of the neighbors who knew me and I knew when I was a toddler... I miss swimming in my grandparents' pool and my other grandparents' hot tub. I had too many friends that i had left. Every year (exceptt 2005 2006 and 2007) I visited them and I still feel sad for leaving... I miss the great trees and the places I knew growing up I MISS NEW JERSEY!!! :'(

  • @MovieStar42 I miss it too :'(

  • highest taxes... most densely populated state.. that's why I coined the phrase.. NJ and your wallet, perfect together...

  • How bout sending some pizza too! DeLorenzo's....that video made me hungry for some jersey food and fun!

  • Yayyyyyy Jersey.!...now send some birch beer to San Diego!

  • I love both New Jersey & Georgia.

My Dad and his family are from New Jersey.

However, I'm a born and raised Georgian.

To me both states are my home. ^_^V

  • Having JUST moved to Arizona a few months ago this made me feel a trillion times more homesick than I already was. Miss NJ more than words can describe and will probably be moving back. NJ culture....there's no other place on earth like it!!

  • I'm a Jersey girl and there is no state like it.

  • What's with all the ethnic crap. If people want to know where the inner city people are. Listen to the musicians. Half of them (especially the lead guitar player who lived in Newark most of his life) grew up in the inner city. This is no more than a up graded home video with great music. If you want to bring the problems of the world to a music video you should run for a political office

  • I've been living in Los Angeles for 9 years & I can safely say that this video REALLY DID make me homesick for NJ, where I'm originally from & where much of my family still remains. Regarding the criticisms of "not including this", NJ has SO much to offer that it's impossible to include everything in one 5 minute video. Also, there's no requirement that the video has to be ethnically politically correct. People SHOULD be photographed randomly regardless of their skin color & not because of it.

  • Where's Soud Amboy? Forgetaboutit?

  • This is great!! Wow...I think he almost covered everything......no Monmouth University though...but still great!! :)

  • I am a Jersey through and through, and I am smiling ear to ear, A totally awesome song, and what better place to sing about??? Thanks!

  • Hey Great song and video! Is WDHA playing it? Who are the musicians on your cd? This is a terrific Jersey song! They should play this at the Prudential Arena.

Good song for Bon Jovi or Southside Johnny.

  • @jfog123 Tried to get WDHA to play the song but no luck yet.! I know WNTI is playing it. I was interviewed and played "LIVE" for them last week. The interview is on thier site. It would be fantastic if Bon Jovi or Southside did it.! The players are; Jim Jacobus Basking Ridge, Vito Capurso Matawan,Joe Baum W.Orange,Tom Jacobson Verona, Gary Martino Union, Mike Decker Ringwood, Joe Formato Orange, Captains of Leisure Horns Sparta, The Moderatley Bright Four Mt.Olive, Kevin Mooney Cedar Grove.

  • @jfog123 I wanted to include all the musicians that played on my new album "YOUNG AND FREE" They all added so much to the songs with there amazing talent. I had Bob Boyle on vocals, Bass and lead guitar. Frank Bandiera on drums. Caren Kennedy on vocals. Joe Biglin on Piano Organ and acoustic guitar. John (otto) Degennaro on drums, pedal steel guitar and vocals.Francis Anthony on saxophone, and John Zambri on vocals.I also want to thank the Flanders clappers who did such a great job. Paul

  • Brilliant stuff...but, I deduct points for not including Rutt's Hut in Clifton. If you have Dickie Dee's, Jimmy Buff's and White Castle...you HAVE to include Rutt's.

When's the next one coming out?

  • Jersey sucks...wish it would fall off into the Atlantic and sink.

  • It makes me home sick, i love the shore...miss Passaic and

clifton. Now i now live in northern Minnesota, but home is always new jersey!

  • Yes, one of the lead guitar players on "My Home New Jersey" is Joe Formato who grew up in Newark, and "yes" he did tour with Meatloaf in the 70's. Also on lead guitar is Mike Decker who also grew up in Newark play's a more blues style guitar. Both of them played on my two albums. The first being The Saved Recordings, and my new album titled Young and Free. You can hear more of thier great guitar playing by going to itunes, C D baby, or Amazon and listen to the song samples. Paul

  • Every body that I talk to that hears your song. Loves that lead guitar player. Please respond, this has been my 3rd request. Is this Joey Formato With Meat Loaf. If it is, please give us some information on him.

  • where is the Meadowlands????? GIANT'S STADIUM!?!?? etc.....

  • Enjoyed the video, brought back many memories from a Jersey Girl. But there was too much emphasis on the shore & North Jersey. It went pretty fast, but I didn't notice anything about the south west counties which are very interesting! How about Hammonton's blueberries? Basto? The Pine Barrens? Fort Mott? Bridgeton? The Salem Oak? Millville arts? Wheaton glass? Fortescue? Horseshoe crabs? Oysters? Bay Point?

Hope you'll do another and include more diversity - NJ is a great state!

  • Where is the Taylor Ham?!

  • Great song and video!! Made me proud to have been born and grown up in NJ. The peoples name that are listed at the end, I saw one that I know from decades ago. Wondering if it could be the same person. The name is Jake Thomas. If he played at Whispers in Wayne, in the 80's then that's him! Hi Jake!!!

  • YES ! THE GUITAR PLAYERS NAME IS JOEY FORMATO. HE LIVED ON GRAFTON AVE IN NEWARK N.J. YES HE PLAYED WITH MEAT LOAF AND MANY OTHER FAMOUS BANDS AS A STUDIO GUITAR PLAYER.

  • Artzilla--- where'd you buy your brain?

  • Please do show some farms. They're an endangered species. Have you ever been to Hope?

  • I missed the visions of Camden, Newark Trenton and the Linden corridor on the Turnpike. I missed the crooked politicians and high taxes, which you could have put to music. But most of all, I missed the guidos and guidettes at the shore.

They are what we present to the world thanks to the low standards Jersey has set for it's people by making us dumb down our schools and allow the lowest elements to walk among us. That aside...........nice video.

  • i WISH IT DIDN'T GO SO FAST.........i LOVED IT SINCE IT BRINGS BACK MEMORIES SINCE I STAYED IN LINDEN WITH MY DEAR AUNT SINCE THE 1960'S.

  • LOVED IT!!!

  • Sorry Edison did not invent the light bulb. He stole that technology from Nikola Tesla....the rest of the video is very cool though and I got to see some cool sights even some that are on the beginning for The Sopranos.

  • This is a well done video. The music is prety snappy, and the work to put it toegther is obvious. I have only one beef. Is New Jersey an all-white state? I saw no people of color in the video.

  • What's with all the Jersey girls? WHERE ARE THE MEN?!

  • I agree with the comment about the guitar player. Nobody can play like him. He has to be the same Joe Formato

  • Great song and guitar player. I see the lead guitar player's name is Joe Formato. Is this the same from Newark who played with Meatloaf?

  • Hey, can you tell me the photo you have of the big water tanks, did you use one that says Cliffwood? My mom thought she saw it the first two times we watched the video but now we can't find it; Please help! Thanks! Love the video! <3

  • Thanks for responding Paul. Yes I love the 60, 70 & 80's. It brought back so many memories of places that I use to hang out at. I will check out your CD. I never left NJ, I will probably always be a resident here. I had to watch your video a few times since it was quite fast and it was hard to catch everything!

  • Not bad, but ending lines in a verse with the word "too" to rhyme with the end of the next verse is lazy writing.

  • YAY!!!!! ^.^

  • Hey Paul - I wanted to say thank you for replying to my comment because it always nice when someone takes time out of their day to show some appreciation and give some good pointers!! I loved your song and video and certainly looking forward to more!!!

  • Absolutely WONDERFUL! Paul, you are quite a TALENT ! Thanks for writing and playing this and for posting MY HOME NEW JERSEY! We are captured and remembered....

  • New Jersey is 37% minority and over 95% of respondents haven't commented on the fact that there are no minorities in this video. Then again, someone did notice that gulls were absent. Welcome to New Jersey!

  • AWESOME VIDEO!!! It should get video of the year! I was happy to see Bruce, D`Jais and Dickies Dee's in there. You didn't leave anything out!!! Great video! Oh but you must have done this before the NJ Housewives?? :)

  • @Blondiss22 I'm glad you enjoyed the song and video. It 's only one song from my new album titled "Young and Free" available on C D baby, itunes, & amazon. I tried to capture the sound of the 60's on the album. If you like that type of of music please go to one of those sites and listen to the samples of all the songs. I also want to mention that almost all the musicans that play on the album are from New Jersey. It's nice that the video makes many people who left Jersey "home sick". Paul

  • Go buy the track on amazon and support him!

  • Great video & Music, but forgot to include "Give'em Hell From Avenel"

  • I liked it a lot but found one thing obviously missing. Where are the gulls?

  • This is great--finally something positive about our state!!

  • LOVE THIS VIDEO AND SONG - Thanks, Paul.

  • Lived here all my life and the best part of NJ is the country living and the shore - the rest of the state SUCKS!

  • Just goes to show ya....Ya can't please all of the people, all of the time. Anyway, good job !!

  • Does not reflect the cultural diversity of NJ and the many contributions of nonwhites!

  • Awesome video! Proud to be a Jersey Girl! :D

  • Loved your song and video. I'm a sheep farmer in NW jersey. We have pastures, cows, sheep and bears in Sussex and Warren Counties. Can you add some pastoral scenes in the next video? Very cool.

  • Great Video, Born Jersey City and raised in Hazlet, makes me miss Jersey, but not all the time....

    thanks,

  • Great video. A little more of South Jersey would have been nice. I love my little but mighty state!

  • Great guitar playing. What his name?

  • Cool! Cool! Cool! Sorry about the few folks drinking that Hatorade that posted negative comments. A couple of 'em moved and for all we care can stay wherever they are now. The truth is, Jersey's a lot like any other place in America, but no place in America is like Jersey. Go Homees!!!!

  • WOW! I love it. I just posted it on Facebook as well. It's worth showing off your Jersey pride!!

  • I love this so much - this is the 2nd time someone has sent it to me. Moved from NJ 6 years ago and am so homesick. You got it all!!!!!!

  • Propaganda! Property taxes, Cancer rates and flooding alone make NJ Hell on earth! I'm a former NJ boy...who won't tell ya where I live now cause I want to protect it!

  • WOW! Thanks a bunch. Now, I want a Dickie Dee's Italian hot dog!!!! (Or maybe Jimmy Buff's!) Damn, I'm hungry. I love it and I will share

  • NJ is a great state TO LEAVE........

  • THAT WAS AWESOME

  • LOVE IT PAUL.... Turned out so great!!! =)

  • Hi Paul... Congratulations on a great video and song. Nice representation of "the Neighborhood" too! :0)

  • What about Spring Lake and the BEAUTIFUL St. Catherine's Catholic Church??

A true work of art !!

  • Oh yeah, New Jersey! Jersey girls, I'm glad i married one!

  • I am from the Jersey Shore, Little Silver to be specific, where the rivers took me into the ocean in our sailboats. The Jersey Shore is the best place in the world to spend your childhood. I love SOCAl, but I miss the Jersey Shore. I posted this video to my fb page. Thanks for bringing back the memories!. By the way, Count Basie wrote the Red Bank Boogie for our graduating class.

  • Never mentioned NJ DEVILS. Number 1 in NHL for 3 seasons and many more divisional titles. But he showed Turnpike 7 times like this is to be proud of...

  • all you 10 people pis and moan about the video, go fuck yourself and make your own video. P.C. is going to kill this country.

  • Loved the song and the video. I was born in newark, lived in irvington then moved to toms river now in whiting. i hope someone picks up on this, it is great!!! will post to my fb page. thanks for the entertainment. Wow, Wild West City, forgot about that place. took my kids there when they were younger and all my irvington friends remember jimmy buffs!! Thanks and good luck.

  • New Jersey. Best in the Land. What? I gotta say more? If you've lived here, you know what I'm sayin'.

  • New Jersey. Best in the Land.

  • Could have had more real people and places and fewer "Jersey Girls" and road signs. Seemed kind of "dumbed down", made to appeal to fans of Snookie and "Jersey Shore". I was born in Kearny in 1951, so maybe I'm just too "yesterday Jersey". Sorry.

  • Awesome, Paul!!! Look at the "hits" grow!!!!!!

  • Great video. Miss very much!!!!!!

  • Great video - wish there was a little bit about Bergen County - great malls - so many beach photos! I do love NJ... did a lot of growing up there. Saddle Brook, Garfield, Lodi, Passaic, Hackensack....

  • Take a Bow fella, your are a true crusader, I am also WHITE, and retired after 32 yrs of hard work, I am enjoying my retirement but not the thoughts of a person like you who feels like they like to hold all the bums up. Step back and let them fall and rot away, the system is dying in front of your eyes. When it is gone you will still continue to whine and blame the very mouth of the Horse that fed you fat.

  • @7722993 According to you all minorities are "bums" and the "system is dying before your eyes". This is ugly,

nasty, unpatriotic comments about our great nation. "...Whine and blame the very mouth of the Horse that fed you fat". Heh? What on earth does that mean? Bizarre! Sorry you feel so threatened by my original comment that there are no minorities in Paul Czakaj"s video.

  • hilarious!! catchy tune :) your right, jersey is the place to go for food. no where else compares. but as a home, yikes, i'm really glad i moved away :)

  • Put a smile on my face. Great job!

  • New Jersey has become a free kill zone,I cant wait to retire and move to a free state.Pa here I come.Bye Bye New Germany

God forbid you should be able to carry a gun to protect yourself. What a shame too I was born and raised a piney, but Lautenburg and the rest of the Globalist have made it a hell hole.

  • jeez a state with only white people... I always thought there were people of all colors in NJ... oh well I must be wrong then

  • Comment removed

  • How about sharing and focusing on No. West Jersey ,, Sussex County. Lots of open space and wonderful fresh air .. High Point State Park, Stokes Forest are a must to see.

  • Heh Everybody...I Live in NYC for 31 years(AND LOVE IT) and am an ORIGINAL JERSEY BOY... But let me tell you... there is NOTHING better than STAR TAVERN PIZZA and I Know Pizza I am 175 Lbs and when I eat Star Tavern I eat 3 enitre pies....Jersey Girls are the best... down to earth and Gorgeous!! Lots of Talent came out of Jersey...LOTS!! Here is a shout out to all the boys....Paul,Jacobus,Decker,Beep,all the other musicians Great Job Guys....Rock&Roll Everbody 60's Forever..... Andy in NYC

  • Good Job My Friend Long Live Jersey City.

  • Should of had a shot of Cowtown Rodeo in Salem County. Only rodeo in the Northeast.

  • Isn't Ray's Pizza in New York?

  • all I have left to say is PALACE OF DOOM!

  • Ok, while NJ is an ok place to visit it will never compare to New York and all NYC has to offer. And as far as the best Pizza? I don't think so my friend... NJ is a close 2nd to NY Pizza.

Even though I am living in Northern California right now, my heart belongs to New York State.

Nice try though... oh by the way, loose the "Jersey Shore" reality show morons and you all will be much better off.

  • BRHS 1963!

  • Ha - How can I not love this song and video because as I was enjoying it, I happened to notice a clip of my Fire Department (Whippany Fire Dept.) marching in the Morristown St Patties Day parade and I'm showing off my sexy legs in my kilt proudly holding Old Glory. Jersey is a hidden gem in rough and I'm proud to be born and raised here and this is a great song/video that will certainly make my fellow Jerseyan's smile!!!

  • @hhansch Hey I'm glad you saw yourself in my video. I'm sure alot of girls will be checking out those legs.!!!Proud to have the Fire fighters, State Police, N J Vietman Veterans, Harding Police, Wahington crossing the Delaware, and USS New Jersey included. Anyone who would like to see any portion of the video a little longer. Click the play/ pause button on the bottom left, and it will stop at that point. You can see more of me by Googling Paul Czekaj. Just look for my web site. Thanks Paul

  • Nice video. Live in the midwest now but grew up in NJ. Lots of great memories.

Made me smile. Need some Grateful Dead "Meadowland" pictures. ;-)

  • @gregoryjamesaustin I grew up in the "land-locked" midwest but have lived in NJ for years. It is more a part of me than where I was raised...so I guess I'm a NJ "transplant". Loved this video cause it covers a lot of territory--especially the shore.

  • don't forget the Mars food factory in Hackettstown! as well as Taylor ham. Shades of Death Rd. and if it's still there.. where they get the dirt for Yankee Stadium!

  • I really like the video and song and will post to my facebook, but what about West Central Jersey, do you how beautiful it is out here, all the farms and horse farms, would have loved to see some footage instead of all the shore, there are more things than the jersey shore here, Hunterdon has the only covered bridge in the state!!! Include us next time please, but great job

  • @njtoothfairy I tried to get as many places as I could from that part of the state. Delaware river tubing (Frenchtown) Alba Vineyard (Milford) Hot Dog Johnny (Buttzville) College of N J (Ewing) High Point (Sussex)Golden Skillet (Hackettstown) Picking pumpkins (Washington) Washington Crossing the Delaware.Etc. I had some real nice farm shots and mountains also. Only four minutes to get it all in. I have enough for another Jersey video part Two. Maybe I'll do another to get in all I missed.

  • What about the Stadium??????

  • I went to school with Chris Czekaj in Mount Olive NJ. Any relation?

  • I hope you don't mind that I shared this on my FB page. I was born and raised in NJ (lived in various towns in Atlantic County), and I miss the cheese-steak subs, Italian subs, and mom-and-pop pizzerias. I live in California now, and we don't have any of that stuff out here that's worth a darn.

  • LOL ... nicely done !! thanks from an ole displaced Jersey girl ... special shout out to Tick Tock Diner .... been a very long time ;}

  • Love this video. Moved to Maine but lived in Hackettstown for 10 years. My dad built the Golden Skillet. So glad to see it's still there. Sure miss New Jersey.

  • I was born and raised in Southern Calif, but lived up in Bergen County for 3 years. I enjoyed this video alot! Brought back some good memories of the places I had seen and the friends I made while living there. Will say this though I did have to laugh at the part where the guy was surfing a 1 ft wave...lol With that being said I enjoyed this video!!! Very nice job with the song!!!

  • Sorry, although I lived in New Jersey 20 years, Brooklyn New York has the best bagels and Pizza!

  • cute, but jersey girls don't pump gas - in jersey, anyway

  • OMG!! YOU GUYS did a GREAT JOB!!! I couldn't believe it when I saw who created this. A friend posted this on my facebook wall! This definitely brought a smile to my face!!!

    Donna Lipari

  • @TheDonna521 I'm glad you enjoyed the video. I was watching the Blues Bros. a couple years ago and they sang the song Sweet Home Chicago. I thought it was great to have a song about a place that you really loved. I started to think about all the places in New Jersey that I enjoy so much and came up with "MY HOME NEW JERSEY". I wrote a song 35 years ago that's on my album titled The Saved Recordings called Back in N.J.. It was about a girl I knew who had been away from Jersey and came back.

  • @TheDonna521

    Nice job I reposted!!

  • They follow this Republican ideology because a) They are brainwashed by the media down here (both Fox & their radio stations) and b) because their daddy's voted Republican, and they "can't stand that black guy whoose in power!" (although GWB was the one who destroyed our economy) It's absolutely horrible down here -- Plus they are much worse drivers here in Louisiana than the ones in NJ

  • Those areas like Ocean County...Asbury Park, Sandy Hook...CENTRAL JERSEY all the way.....including Trenton...Bordentown, maybe "upper" South Jersey.

I am in South Jersey..... those other parts are not South Jersey...except to someone from up north who does not know the difference!!

  • @afan58 Yeah, you`re talkng about Haddon Heights, Haddonfield, Marlton, Cinnaminson, Barrington , Maple Shade etc.-I`m a North-Central Jersey boy and I read you loud and clear!

  • I moved here from CT over 20 years ago and have truly embraced NJ. Thanks for showing the world why! (PS, I still love CT, too, which also has its share of inferiority/superiority complexes! Maybe I just like enigmas, since I spent 9 years in RI before that....)

PS - Rockin' song, too! Nice shredding!

  • Great video, LOVE MY STATE!!!!

  • #1 in taxes and corruption too.

  • @mojopin12 Property taxes: You're definitely right...My wife & I moved out of NJ 2 years back, and bought a place in Baton Rouge....Turns out Louisiana has just as much, if not more corruption. Even though Christie is raping and bullying his way around your area, NJ is overall a very intelligent state. Down here (and the other Gulf places,) there is a larger % of ignorant, stubborn fools here. Just give them Fox tv, a case of Bud Light and a carton of smokes & their lives are complete.

  • Amazing! You captured seemingly every highlight and aspect of the Garden State. I love this! Several of the places are in my book, "Ghosthunting New Jersey."

  • Great song and video...I posted it on my fb page and I'm sending it to my email buds...which includes a few dj's...i'll put in a good word for u....

  • @EvryDa Thanks for you help. I'ts really hard for an Indie artist to get played on the radio. Any help that you can give me would be much appreciated. I've sent the video and album titled Young and Free to alot of radio stations in Jersey. You just don't know if they ever even open your package. I hope that since you know the people your going to send it to that they will open it and listen to the song. If anyone else has a contact in a radio station, please feel free to pass the song . Thanks

  • @PaulCzekaj ...i don't know who you have been sending this song to but Lindsay Klein has a spot on her show (i think it's called Home Grown) where she features local bands...try sending her a copy @ WDHA FM...The radio station is located @ 55 Horsehill Road ~ Cedar Knolls, NJ 07927.

  • @PaulCzekaj I don't know y I couldn't post the website address for DHA but i'm gonna try it again

  • Spent some of my American Bandstand days in New Jersey.....going to Holy Cross High School and waiting out on the highway with my hatbox full of my Bandstand clothes to go to Philly & 46th & Market Streets.

The bus driver would do a double take - changed from the Holy Cross gray and white uniform in the back of the box to my "cool" Bandstand clothes and danced the rest of the day away! Bunny Gibson 59-61

  • Would I want to go back and live there? Probably not. But I have always thought of NJ as the hub between north and south, and west. Everything goes through there, in every direction. And that's rough on a place. But it's still there. It has the lowest per capita suicide rate in the entire country - what the hell more do you need to know? Should change plates from "Garden State" to "We Have A Reason To Live" I'll shutup now.

  • A much-maligned State, for no good reason. I lived there in the 60s/early 70s. Lot of ugly stuff? Sure. Last I recall, the most densely populated State in the US - or at least damn close. What do you think is going to happen with that many people? But flip it on it's head - if that many people live there, doesn't that also say something? They live there - and would seem to like it well enough to stay. NJ has it's nightmares, but also it's jewels.

  • I LOVE my State!

  • Love it! I want one of the Born and Raised in NJ stickers, because I was!

  • Great song, Great Video (even if you did Trenton, the capitol city). (ex Yankee pitcher Al Downing & comedian Ernie Kovacs) not to mention Trenton has the best Tomato Pie, and Trenton, Thunder baseball....

  • Great song cuz keep on rockin in the free world that's not so free anymore

  • A very good job ... Congratulation ... Greetings from Austria, Silviiie

  • It would take me a year to gather all the material for this video; another to sort it and compile it into a video like this! GREAT JOB!

  • @jimhalifko Thanks to everyone for all the positive comments on the video. I know there were so many places left out ,but the song is only four minutes long. Not nearly enough time to get in all the great places in Jersey.Having to take almost all the photo's and video myself was a time consuming task. The editing took a long time too.I'm hoping some radio stations will play the song. Maybe some fans of the song can call their local station and ask them to play it. Thanks Paul.

  • Great video, simply great! And to all you idiots who want to comment about what was left out: Why not make your own video?

    Top notch job! Joisey rocks!

  • Very nice, but there are plenty of mountains and farms in NJ too. Great song though!

  • Living in TX for 30 years makes you wish for a lot of things; then when you get them, they don't just taste the same. I would add Delorenzo Pizza, and I agree with pork roll. I had to buy some on the internet. One thing we cannot get are torpedo rolls and crunchy kaiser rolls. We have a restaurant called One Guy From Italy (he is from Asbury Park)at least we get cheese steak.

  • Second highest taxes in the country, yeah, what's not to love? Oh wait, Jersey has the most rockin' cities in the country, too. Real crapholes like Trenton, Newark, Elizabeth, Camden, Atalantic City, Vineland and all of Hudson, Essex and Union Counties. Yuck! Did I mention the traffic? Pollution? Ughh...

  • Fucking A. It's time someone made a song and video like this.

  • Excellent, Excellent, Excellent.

    Move over Boss LOL
