haha!!! yes i had to stop it at 5 seconds to say THANK YOU for having the bike sound and not shitty video oand terrible music....and i just hope that you go over the speed limit...evry vid i have found so far is gay
Even when I use music in the background, I make sure you can hear the engine. I had to kill the background music in this video because I didn't have permission from Godsmack or Metallica... you know what I mean... ;)
I'll have to agree that the sound of the engine IS much better than music.
However, I'm guilty of dubbing music over our motorcycle videos. My only reason for doing that is because the camera that we use is mounted on top of our helmets. Above 5mph, all you hear is obnoxious, roaring wind noise. With the sound muted, the video takes on a rather boring presence.
We've been going to try to wrap the mic in a piece of foam, but haven't done it yet.
It is in the rural northern Arkansas where popo spends their time catching speeders in the major highways (like hwy 65 and 7), and not on this out-of-the-way sportbike haven.... kd
Rode it this Oct. two up on a Gold Wing. Somewhat more liesurely pace. :-) Video posted.

Great Video. Where was the camera mounted?
Is this a VFR? Looks and sounds like one? Nice Job!

It is a '97 Yamaha YZF1000R, a 500lb sportbike with 135hp and handles OK.
Source of the video is a Lipstick cam mounted under the nose fairing with camcorder in the tankbag, used as a recording device. Thanks
