  • this was very helpful.

    thankyou

  • creepy

  • Good work

  • omg this scares me a bit... I hope those little guys keep doing all their jobs!!! Think about how many cells there are in us and all of them do all this :O

  • I feel like this described DNA replication more than expression, but still a pretty good vid.

  • The music on these videos are really wierd.

  • Great Animation and easy to understand, thank you =)

  • Not bad, although overly simplified to the point of introducing a few mistakes. My biggest complaint would be that you show an ER bound ribosome translating a secreted protein and that protein does not pass through the ER (also, the ribosomal sub-units only come together and bind the ER after they bind the mRNA).

  • Magnificent work sir, you truly are a scholar

  • Perfect Video.

  • this was like a whole year of grad school put into two minutes

  • nice and clear

  • This is one of the hardest concepts to master in Biology.

  • Great animation, great music, great video :)

  • what is this for 3 year olds? No details at all

  • @FthePo9ers Its an overview to understand the overall concept of "gene expression," which then can be further divided. If you need detail, look for something besides gene expression. Try "transcription and translation." Which has plunty of detail.... or go make your own damn video?

  • this is one of the best videos I've seen on the subject.

  • This is a really nice overview to help students not lose sight of the big picture when they're studying something like intricate like protein synthesis.

  • What makes mRNA leave the nucleus?

  • @MRaverz Magic :)

  • this should be on every channel you just made this geek's day

  • tthat video is simply best it explains all within short time.........

  • This is a nice video. It gives the big picture. It's better to look at the more detailed videos, then come back to this. It is a very good summary video.

  • far too simple, and also why does the Rough endoplasmic reticulum have polypeptide production into the cytoplasm, when in reality it enters the lumen of the RER- and there post translational modification occurs- kind of missed that step as well... not too worry, good for a yr 10 or 11 to understand it..

  • Big Thanks

  • A nice simple visual to get the basic idea. I love it.

  • It is simplified, but the simplification is necessary so that the big picture is always in view.

  • Way too over simplified!

  • Um, the point of watching videos is to actually have it explained in a version that is highly simplified.

Usually for those of us, who don't really know what the hell is going on haha

  • Very helpful, thanks!!!!

  • ok, but too simple :)

  • Amazing. It's mindblowing what's going on within us all the time.

  • yes its over simplified however its not like your only going to go off of what is in this video. This video i think gave the best over all summary to the story of are cells. Thanks for putting a great image to all this text i'm studying.

  • amazing thanks

  • i did not know that? :/

  • way too over simplified.

  • agree

  • agreed

  • 5/5

  • amazing

  • Helped a ton.

  • Excellent! Simply Superb! Very nicely explained! Couldn't be any better!!
