Two reasons: this is a very good bari player and if you want to hear the Albert Ayler version you have to buy the album which is probably long out of print. Ayler was an incredible player though; and a good golfer.
thanks for posting this! the spirit of tim hill is very different than ayler's but his reading of this beautiful composition is so exciting! i like noble's accompanying too!

Tim Hill is probably the greatest Bari player I never heard of. Very good! Brings new meaning to "power trio".
