  • Do you still make this? Have you changed your ingredients?

  • Thanks for this method I was trying to figure out a way to melt shea butter w/o microwaving or having to buy a dbl boiler.

  • What was the name if the stuff in the green bottle? I couldn't quite make it out

  • You are awesome!!:) this video made my day!! thank you.

  • I'm making some of this right now... Turning out lovely... Can I use this same whipped mix on my skin, or do you have a whipped mix for the skin also?

  • WOW that's a beautiful consistency. i'm trying this method :)

  • I used this method to make my whipped shea mix , and it came out really nice and fluffy. In your video you mentioned doing the mix for the skin, did you use the same oils with the shea butter ? thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I followed this method but used Olive Oil and Jojoba Oil as my carrier oils. And Rosemary Oil, Clary Sage Oil, Lavender Oil, and Peppermint Oil as my essential oils. I simply LOVED the finished product. Thanks Shadylane2121!!

  • @forgivenandloved I am glad it helped! It's nice to be able to make your own stuff and yyou know whats in it!

  • Great vid & great ingredients.

  • RAW honey, Tea tree oil and Natural Vitamin E oil are all great preservatives and they work well in products. Also tea tree oil is great for anti-bacteria and acne. Honey is also great for the skin, great for preventing acne etc... You see how her skin is, it's nice and you can use this is our hair! ALSO ROE (rosemary extract) is great for preserving. Good luck with your store! I'm on that route too!

  • Natura Vitamin E (which I think you used natural ,d-tocopherol) is a NATURAL preservative in case anyone was wondering. It also gives a great creaminess to your end product. Liked your method of melting the shea butter. I like to add the essential oils after the shea butter has been whipped/frozen etc...

  • Inspirational! I am going to try to make my very own batch.

  • this is the best technique i've seen! i love the finished product!

  • Great recipe .. did the mix work well to moisturize you relaxed hair as well as new growth without it being to heavy..

    Kim

  • It did! I think I will add rosemary and aloe vera to the next batch though!

  • I just got my shea butter today

should I store it in the refrig

  • I store mine in a drawer in the kitchen, I think you can store it in the fridge though.

  • good luck, with your store. By the whipping the shea butter makes it light enough for naturals, also using lighter oils will do that too. By the way I understand the slacker bit, I have an online store for natural stuff and half my stuff isn't even up and I keep coming up with ideas and haven't even made them yet. As long as you are doing it for fun, the slacker stuff won't matter. By the way, did you decide where you are going 2 sell?

  • TY! No I haven't started! Everyone keeps on asking me and offering to pay me!

  • I was one of the girls from work that got a batch of this! Loved it ya'll. my hair isnt dry and braking anymore.. Sell it girl!!

  • HEHE! Thanks T! Glad to see your watchin my vids! Did you watch the Tina Turner one yet?

  • ima buy some today i will let u know if i see a difference TY!!

  • Good luck! Let me know how it works out!

  • try the rosemary oil too ..I put it in mine and it is great for hair growth..

  • I was going to do this, but I was to lazy to go to the store! TY! For watching! Oh and me and the crochet thing are not friends right now lol!

  • WOW! Okay I'm sold!!! I was waiting for you to do this!!!! You do your thang girl! I'd buy from you!!!! ANother one for my favorites!

  • You are so sweet! I made this batch and took it to work for the girls and they all raved about it and they were like you should sell this stuff! I have been planning to do this, but I am a slacker! But like they say"Don't nothing come to a sleeper but a broke nightmare!"

  • I see that took some time but if u make something that will take away my dark blemishes on my face i will be ur customer 4 life!!!!!

  • Shea butter is supposed to work for that as well! I just started putting the raw shea butter on my face like 2 days ago and I really like it! I use at night before I go to sleep and it keeps my skin so soft and I only need a tiny bit!
