  • Did you get that Daniel San

  • i feel the energy on my bodyy

    its like i can flyyy

    Parkour 4 ever!!!!!

  • I have just recently started taekwando and was wondering if anyone had any tips for a begginer cuz i am really sht at it so far! :)

  • @01Mohini I started taekwondo at the start of this year so im pretty much a beginner myself, but after a few weeks you start to gain confidence. After your first grading you begin to feel you've accomplished something and you'll naturally hunger to do better. never give up :D

  • Why all these sounds? That's the only thing i think it's weird about taekwondo, karate, kungfu, wushu etc.

  • @Jun3Awzme u mean the breathing

  • @Jun3Awzme I'm not sure why it does but it does help to get the speed and power out. You see it in boxing also where they make the short hissing sound when they throw a punch. If you try it yourself with and without the sharp exhale there will be a noticeable difference in speed when you punch for example.

  • what kind of tkd is that? no offense but tkd isnt just about the looks its how to deffend your self the white belt in a martial art for tkd should learn the basic hamer fist side kick front fall and jungin step

  • @TandCFilms13 Stop. Stop. Stop. Your going the wrong way. Taekwon-do is a Martial Art, it's not all about "Killing" your oppenent. The Martial side is self defense, and the Art side is the way it looks. The pattern's are the Art side, and the Sparring is the Martial side. I hope you understand now, if you have any more question's, don't hesitate to ask me

  • @Dustybolt im srry but im not going the wrong way i know what im talking about

im a 3rd degree black belt in tae kwon do and im an instuctor as well martial arts is to deffend ur self yes> butits also control disipline respect and many other things tae kwon do is more than a martial art to me its my life so im srry but i get offeneded when ppl tell me tht im looking at martial arts the wrong way when im not

  • Hi good video! But for what is it?

  • in other words get ready to take a shit

  • IM HAVING A test im getting my yellow Stripe

  • years not mater in training maters self disiplen and will to learn young one. my same question to my sensay four years ago....im still not ready for black belt.

  • does he have to hiss?

  • car horn at 1:30

  • I m a taekwondo black belt and........ you no have ani idea about this art, fake

  • @Aitormma1991 TKD sux it cant work in a street fight or a ring fight or a cage fight or a fight period

  • @LilBlitz116 of course, i am a purple belt in brazilian jiujitsu and i train muay thai too and this martial arts are more efecctive than taekwondo. Of course this guy have no idea of taekwondo.

  • lol yeah :P

  • @yoyoian96 true so is the L stance realy a right stance and a R stance is realy a L stance then that meens standing parrelel is realy rapping you r leg togethere whoo taekwondo fighters must be some nerds

  • @ovleb2 says the fag :p

  • From all the comments I see, looks like I'll be signing up for real training

  • The final back stance is done improperly. His left foot is not at a 90 degree angle to the front foot. This is why I'm skeptical of learning from online videos. I suggest to everyone to view as many as possible to understand the common basis of these stances and to also be sure to get verification from a local instructor. In other words, i wouldnt suggest taking any videos as the final and proper way.

With that said, this black belt did an overall great job with this video.

  • In a proper L stance the legs are not 90 degrees angle to each other. If you listen to his opening comments, you would hear that both legs/feet should be 15 degrees away from the vertical/horizontal lines respectively. (Not in those exact words). I will attempt to explain the positioning of the feet.

  • I like this video especially with the extra sound (like *bezzz) that he made when he did that stance?.. lol..

  • @warzangel hehe its because you get more power from a breathe-out sound, in boxning they usually do like "pff pf" it's the same thing in Taekwondo.

  • @warzangel *bezzz)

copy and paste to every video you watch

  • shit all videos...poooooor!

  • is it just me or this guy doesn't know his right from his left?

  • Comment removed

  • @thornnitro haha!!!!!

  • @thornnitro

the guy does know his right and left, but in martial arts the instructors do movements in mirror view so its easier for the students

  • @thornnitro ya right

  • @thornnitro he is doing it purposely for us to do mirror view

  • how much years should u train to have the black belt? and are they schools for adults? coz its kinda sux with lil kids....

  • i got 1 in about 5 min i went to store bought mine

  • lol..

  • you should train more than 6-7 years i used to go to tae kwon do for 5 years and then i stopped , i consider going back right now to get the black belt :D !

  • i dont want to have the belt at 22 !!!!!!!!! i cant show off on that age if u know what i mean lol

  • Well then i dunno what you should do .. lol the point is to know how to protect your self and be fast not to show off..lol ! if you are elder you will be the example for the younger kids who will respect you more and follow your instructions if you something more than them :D !

  • i already do muay thai and jiu jitsu, all i need now is a beautifull martial art to show off XD, in jiu jitsu it takes 1-2 year for one belt,so its ends up that id have a belt in 10 years -__-, but in taekwando it looks easier

  • no taekwondo is more than 2 years to get the first black belt, it took me 2 years of training.... well actually i also trained in korea when i was young for 3 years... at age 9..... so....yea

  • LOL SAME HERE XD

  • @OldschoolDresta Took me 8 years.

  • @OldschoolDresta not sure my friend is 11 he has been doing this since kindergarten and he only has a red belt

  • @OldschoolDresta it depends on how much you train.

if you train regularly like for example 4-5 times a week probably in 2 years you can be a black belt.

  • @yelly13mori yeah but i dont want to get a belt, if im not good enought, many taekwando school give black belt to people who doesnt deserve it. so the black belt guy opens up a school, and all his students who sucks because of the teacher are gettin black gelt too, so that destroys the martial art. i posted my comment 9 months ago, and from then i done shaolin kung fu for 6 mounths because if learned proper drills....taekwando isnt serious enough

  • @OldschoolDresta well maybe it depends on the one who's monitoring the promotional exams.xD i'm not a black belt and i just read that from a Taekwondo handbook.xD

  • kinda dude really

  • @OldschoolDresta

I'm starting classes on saturday but when i went in to sign-up they were seperated but age classes but thats just were i'm going it may be diferent else were

they may seperate it by belt

  • @OldschoolDresta To gain the black belt 1st grade, at least 5 years (4 days a week) of practice is needed. Also there are 9 grades of the black belt that all require more training and knowledge than the 1st grade. Concerning the classes there are different age classes from what i've seen. You should look up with your local dojo though so that you know for sure.

  • @OldschoolDresta : it will take you at least 2.5-3 years to get to first dan black belt

  • @OldschoolDresta lol yes, and you have tests to get a black belt, I dont how much each month

  • @OldschoolDresta It doesnt suck =) you just need to be good... if u good u learn a lot... but if you bad and with kids than u wont be learning much cause be learing easy stuff like lil kids

  • @OldschoolDresta Ah I have the answer to one of them questions! It (On average) take's an athlete 3 years to reach the black belt status. I am green belt now, and soon grading for my blue tag. Different club's have different schools, so I don't know the second question. Good luck on your journey to black belt! (If your going to start)

  • @OldschoolDresta Personally I wouldn't say Tae-Kwon-Do is the best art for showing off, Capoeira (Brazilian dance martial art) that would more suit someone looking for an impressive display type (e.g. "Eddy" in the Tekken games). Seeing as you have learned/ are learning muay-thai and jiu-jitsu you probably have self defence and discipline covered, I would suggest Capoeira.

  • @OldschoolDresta 6 years for a black belt

  • @OldschoolDresta it takes about 2 and s half yrs cuz theres only 10 gradeings thts what my trainer told me

  • @OldschoolDresta you can take black belt in 9 months if u work hard and if you don't work hard or don't think that you can make it you will stay yellow or maybe white for 9 years :)

  • thanks for the vid, ive needed 2 see it done props as ive a grading 2mos and i wasnt sure if i had my wieght distributed right.

  • you and ur mom = shit ass niggles
