I Googled for info, and came up empty. Several readers have theorized that they're referring to caltrops, but there is still no way to confirm that's what the cops meant.

LOL! I STILL can't believe TJ and Jesse did that. And TJ's last name was spelled wrong. It begins with "P" not "T".
How I know this? Because I used to hang out with them.
