  • I adore this movie as much as A Summer Place and Parrish.

This was the era when real movies were made, Unfortunately people consider this classics or cult flicks bad and trashy because they are used to today's expensive garbage with its fake (computerised) special effects.

  • 0:33 to 0:44 ... couldn't they have found a box for her to stand on?

  • Love this movie Troy and Connie are great together.

  • Love this movie, sooooooooo innocent compared to to-day.

  • This movie isn't trashy or bad. I loved it when I was a kid and I love it now. Just watched it on TCM.

  • I too saw this movie decades ago, back then I loved it , love all of those romance movies and Troy was my crush.

Some posted that it was on TCM a few weeks ago, If anyone happens to notice any of these movies on again could someone tell me .

  • @galwaygirl501 They are scheduled for showing during the summer months. Check your local listings.

  • @galwaygirl501 You can check on the TCM.com web site to see if the movie's coming up. If it is, you can then ask TCM to email you twice before the showing.

  • For those of you who say it is trashy & bad, well some of us came of age during this time - which was a very different era. It may seem silly to you, but that's sort of the way it was in those days. Look at it as a window to the past and be thankful we don't impose these things on today's young people. It is still fun to watch this movie & the rest like Parrish and more of that ilk.

  • TCM just played this movie tonight. I think it might be the WORST movie I ever saw!!!

I can't believe I just watched a baby burst into flames. BIZARRE!!!

  • Wow...give away the whole movie, why don't you trailer. LOL.

  • I remember this flick. I was so disappointed when Grant Williams' character was bumped off so near the beginning. A movie of its time, early 1960s. Thanks for the trailer. I haven't seen this movie in decades!

  • Delmer Daves made several great movies with Troy Donahue: A Summer Place, Parrish, Susan Slade and Rome Adventure and all were smash hits and Troy was.a big box office star. Connie Stevens was a lovely actress and for a while Queen of the WB Lot and is now one of the richest women in Hollywood. Troy went on to do other films at WB Palm Springs Weekend, A Distant Trumpet and h My Blood Runs Cold. After he left WB his star faded. Someone should do a book on the career and life of Troy Donahue

  • No they weren't! They were two different stories entirely. In "Parrish" Troy doesn't even end up with Connie!
