@scottie64 more like pay lakes are for people who live in ohio, who don't own a boat so they can't get to good spots on the river. ohio fishing SUCKS. every single lake that has cats in it, is over fished. so whats left is a bunch of 2-4lb channels which sucks. everyone i know who don't fish paylakes is like "oh yeah caught a nice cat last night" they show me a picture, and its as big as my forearm. i caught those when i was 5. btw, it takes skill to catchem at pay lakes.
@wheresmybobber .........there's plenty of trophy catfishing available in ohio if you know where to look and put the time in.......paylake is a shortcut for lazy ass fishermen that lack the skill it takes to find them in their natural habitat. have fun crossing lines w/ your neighbor at your local paylake.......
@bassmassey ha only place to find abundant trophy cats in ohio is the rivers and lake erie.. i know they are there but if the only reason i am gonna take my time to fish the river is only to say i didn't catch it from a paylake, then it's not worth it to me. a hog is a hog dude. and i've never crossed lines with anyone. only people that do that are people who fish the river and never practiced accurate casting; they just cast wherever they want. paylaking isn't easy bub

its outside of camden ohio on hoel rd.u can hardly keep one pole in the water out there in any of the lakes.i caught 39 out there last nite with the biggest being a 51 lb blue that was tagged
not everyone is accomidated with a boat to enter catfish tourny on a river, thats where paylakes come in to play
