@banoue815 Did you go? I toured cross country in '97 and saw about 13 shows that Summer. Nothing could top the venue at the Gorge! Except for that damned security lady who busted me hitting my bowl as phish was playing some space ass shit in prelude to Down With Disease. She just took the bowl and my buddy and I immediately headed for venue center with heads held low in shame - haha!!! Great Memories!!!

@RoscioDj No, the Talking Heads were good. They're not THAT far behind Phish. Admittedly, they couldn't jam out like this and spontaneously transition into an almost endless variety of music. But it's a different approach to music, less focus on live improv, more on crafting albums in studio.
