I have Epilepsy and gone though tons of prescription meds...on one now but hate the side effects...i can't get a Dr. to sign the papers to get a mm card and it is legal to use mm where I live...any help would be great!

You're right; most are very unaware of the technicalities involved. Many employ pesticides that horribly affect one's lungs, in order to expand his or her yield (crop size). It's critical that it's grown organically to truly utilize the medicinal benefits. Further, many dealers increase the weight of the cannabis by soaking it in household cleaners (e.g. Windex). If you're sincerely interested in receiving the medical aspects, ensure it is organically grown :)

I'm Tim. I've experimented with 13 drugs now. I've gone from overweight to losing hair to bruising at the lightest touch. I was skeptical of cannabis when I began pursuing it as a form of medicine, but I've watched myself go from violently seizing to the extent of chipping teeth and raking my face against concrete to now, rarely experiencing convulsions. I don't consider it a cure-all drug, but it's given me the chance to restart my life. :)

i ended up feeling the seizure coming on it started off with my vision becoming distorted, my body feeling weird, and an odd putrid but recognizable smell. If i wasnt living on my own i would have died because i always need someone there for me to resuscitate as i blackout each time. as soon as i got home i smoked a couple bowls and i went from all my muscles in my body being in pain to walking around feeling better. thc is the best medicine for epilepsy but cuz of conservative

i just had a seizure yesterday with violent convulsions didnt chip any teeth lol but my face afterwords was and still is completely banged up i understand more then the majority of people watching what it actually feels like but in my case i am denied from medicine that i beleive will actually help with my epilepsy because the doctors are too conservative in their views i know it helps though.

Whoever uses Lamictal, smoke marijuana with it. When I just use Lamictal I have seizures(Juvenile Myoclonic Epilepsy), but when I smoke/ingest marijuana paired with Lamictal I went from 100's of seizures a month to around 5 a month. I don't tell anyone though because it is Illegal in Kansas.

i am also an epilepsy patient, i have used medical marijuana for my condition and went from having 6 seizures a month to 1 seizure every 2-5 months :)... i as an epileptic patient would suggested to other patients to give it a try

right now im controlled with lamictal. but i was pulled thru the rounds with a shitton of drugs. I've alway thought that if my stae got mmj i'd look into it. but our douchbag gov. lynch vetoed it. and somehow he was reelected

@IXRecords024 actually it is likely. though marijuana has cannabinoids (CBD) that are anti-convulsant, in some people the THC triggers seizures. that's why marijuana is touch and go for people with epilepsy. it works for my seizures but for others it may not.

Look up better info the effects of marijuana are the oppisite, quit being a pussy and experiment for yourself. Ihave one of the worst cases in Cerebral Dysrythmya and I've been smoking weed since I was six.

It got rid of my epilepsy

my asthma

my alergies

My sinuses and my trauma since the way I got epilepsy was from being dead line for over an hour.

Plus it cured my grandma from terminal c :p

I can relate I have had epilepsy since 1988.. All the pills didn't control my sezuires as well as marijuana does. Good luck Tim and you will make a difference big......marty /Michiagn
