You don't buy this car as an everyday sports car. You buy this car as you would an Apple product: it is a gadget for you to brag about. It is for people who want to add a unique car to their collection. Everyone else gets the Cayman or normal Boxster.

Well Boxter is a much better car in terms of ride, build quality and brand name. I will however admit that i test driven both cars and I ended up buying the new Z4335i for two reasons.

I am 6 feet 5 tall and unfortunately I could not fit in the boxter, also I really like the hard top metal roof of the Z4. Also Z4's power is not that far behind Boxter S specially with the dual clutch and the M program.

I really like the boxter S but the Z4 fitted me best.

@hamadM3 yeah, you have seen the boxster in person Oh that's makes you an expert! I've test driven the boxster s and the old z4 m and the new z4, before buting a 911. I can guarantee you that boxter performs miles better, both handling and comfort wise. The ride on the Z4 is really harsh and it doesn't handle nearly as well.

@hamadM3 boxter spider is the same as boxster s just a bit less weight and a bit more power, it cannot be worse than the boxster s if you just keep the driving aspect in mind. Thought the lack of aircon and radio might make it impossible as everyday car

I really liked this short and sweet review, some youtube vids get drawn out (see motortrend) but this was sweet and to the point. Don't know if I'd want something this finicky the top seems more like a gimmick and the car is way to heavy imo to be called a lightweight, but it sure looks nice.

M5 would be in the only car you just mentioned suited for daily uses, the other two not so much. People who do that are conceded and just want to show off, so they use it everyday. A smart person who makes that purchase would want to keep the mileage as low as possible and not run the risk of crashing it by driving everyday. Call me dumb if you want, but I like to be smart with my money.
