It's easier to just kill every zerg base on the map and then put Artanis and Zeratul into the temple so you don't have to worry about protecting the temple. That's what I do.

so what, was every single protoss inside the one temple? did they just kill everyone who didn't make it inside in time?

@AnonymousComrade Nah, it was probably a more localized blast. They just had to get everyone in the area who's a protoss inside the temple; I'm guessing that farther out they had some clean up, but I think the cerebrates were in the area for the siege, so since there was Dark Templar energy, they went poof with the Zerg swarms that got Independance-day'd.

"Executor you will escort Artanis and zeratul " Yeah the Executor isnt artanis in this one. I've heard its Selendis.

@jesusff10 It was a retcon. Read "The Story So Far" on the Starcraft 2 website. Selendis became Executor after Artanis became Hierarch.
