  • Thx for posting this plum blossom. One Q though...shouldn't the branch (brush with different ink tones) be made with different tones of ink instead of pure or very dark black ink ? Just a Q from a novice.

  • That's an excellent question! Actually it's a matter of style. Personally, I love the look of the dark Ink contrasted to the gentle Plum blossoms. You can just as easily load the brush with a medium tone of Ink and then tip the brush to pure Ink. Another possibility is using a brown tone such as Burnt Sienna in the body of the brush and then tipping to Neutral Tint or Ink. Do let me know which you prefer.
