This scene is why Ichi the Killer is one of the best examples of good ideas (ultimate sadist vs ultimate masochist) done poorly. Ok, Kakihara running away
isn't a bad idea. But must he be naked while doing so? What was the purpose of that? Shock and awe? Pathetic and disgusting is more like it. I find this scene more comical than serious and it's supposed to be the former. Ichi should be adapted
and remade by someone who knows how to write

Well thats pretty much the final volume of the manga...though more happens. Not real pleased with the animation here, but its not even the best-looking manga to begin with.

ichi-1 not filmed by takashi mike but the actor that played ichi in takashi's film, ''ichi the killer'' is in this prequel film.
