I do this a little differently than you. I start the same with the Infantry and work towards a Neotank, but I bottleneck the little inlet of land where the two cities are. With 10K every turn for cash, I'll get a Neotank in the city furthest from the HQ in the inlet, and flank him with another Neotank, a couple Anti-Airs, a Missile, and a couple Rockets. This allows only a couple to attack at one time, and the few air units that get sent out are destroyed by the Missles. Got me an A rank on it.
The best I've yet achieved on this mission is a B rank. I did that by punching in to the top right and putting the AI on the defensive from the start.
I finished this mission too by myselft but very hard i made a wall with some units,an artillery and a rocket behind and a missile which beat 2 copters....but in the end like the 13th day i had like nothing except 2 infantery and my bases were full of tanks and units.I was lucky that he didn't had infantery in my base to get my HQ,and i won
I had an A rank on that mission, But I need to get an S rank to unlock sturm.

@Giann57Angelito no you don't. The TOTAL score in the whole campaign is what counts. You don't need S rank on every single map:D Good luck:)
