I'm a military veteran. So I guess that makes me Humanity Hating Uncle Tom.
I happen to realize that George Bush and the SEC spent a good part of his administration cleaning up the mess left behind from Clinton's Omnibus Budget Act. So I guess that makes me a rich guy. I make videos about the self-destructive behaviors of the VAST MAJORITY of black american women today, advising them to set higher behavior standards. So I guess that means I hate black women (if you let them tell it). LOL
If you are a U.S. Citizen, Oboma, Berry, What ever that King of Kenya, This Idiot in high office, Has only one thing on his mind,,,,To bring chaos to the people.
Christian... acknowledging that there is some day in December called Christmas and not just Holiday...using a bumper sticker that says "support our troops".... "I love Israel"... or any reference to 2012 coming soon.
This is horribly asinine. Obama? Really cuz yeah I hear him crying about racism every day. Give me a fricking break. This is half of whats wrong with America. Idiots being idiotic.
However, In other news: The DNC has issued a recall on millions of Race Cards. In a statement released yesterday, they admitted that, while the cards had worked reliably of half a century, they have become worn out and ineffective...
And I must admit, your response is "pithy" in response to my "tirade." You bet I'm an originalist. It would be wonderful to return to at least government of the people, by the people, and for the people, not control by the "public servants." Our servants pass laws by which we must abide but to which they are exempt. What is wrong with that picture. We now have the equivalent of a government banking system, that which the founding fathers completely opposed. Originalist? Damn right.
@toddadale I think not. A living Constitution? That would indicate that whenever it's not convenient to your political agenda you may change what made this country great for a better idea. It would appear that the declination of our country has taken place as we bleed the "living Constitution" to death. The founders were in touch with what was wrong with the world they/we live in and created a set of rules to correct those flaws. We've corrupted those over the years. Here's what we have.
All Republicans are not racist, but if you are a racist, your more likely to be a Republican. BTY to the moron who made this childish video. The words are Democratic controlled not Democrat controlled
@kfeltenberger really? do you say Republic Party? This is just Fox and GOP word play. Its called the Democratic Party since the time of Jackson - know your history and not what Glenn Beck tells you
@toddadale It is the Republican Party, not Republic Party. When referred to in the situation you're using, the party names are Democrat Party and Republican Party. I do know my history and have listened to Beck probably half an hour since he was a blip on the radar, so before you make accusations, consider how foolish it makes you look when you're proven wrong.
@kfeltenberger Well, you do not know what you are talking about and since you use that name that is used by the GOP and Fox as in insult, you much watch it. Don't believe me? Here's a link to prove you wrong - Google it if you do not believe me, or go to Wikipedia ITS Democratic Party (United States)
@kfeltenberger So typical "intelligence" is a sign of "arrogance" in the mind of a Tea Bagger. I am not the idiot that does not even know the name of one of the two major parties in America. Now go watch FOX PAC and dumb yourself down some more..
@toddadale Wikipedia can be edited by nearly anyone. If you believe all you read on Google and the like you would believe anything. Democratic is an adjective; Democrat is the noun. The Democrat party is far from democratic; hence, it is an improper use of the term. The educational system of this day and age is woefully inadequate, and those that would instruct you that Democratic Party is the correct useage is wholly and completely ignorant. It is indeed Democrat party.
@MrNamvet Fox News and The GOP have been saying Democrat Party of about 5 years now - much like saying tea bagger, not Tea Party; its a slur. Webster dictionary states. Definition of DEMOCRAT
1
a : an adherent of democracy
b : one who practices social equality
2
capitalized : a member of the Democratic party of the United States
@MrNamvet Your understanding of American History is about the same as Christine O'Donnell's understanding of the 1st amendment. As to our educational system, you could use some of it, since you are 100% ignorant of our nation's political party system.
@toddadale Nice try. My family tree dates back to William Bradford, and we have many documents which I am privileged to have access to. We can discuss/argue how definitions have advanced to where they are, but civility ould be nice if you could manage it. I personally was taught Democrat party when Stevenson, a personal family friend, was running for President. It was not a slur then, and it's not a slur now. Just being accurate.
@toddadale BTW, if you are going to insinuate that one's education level is inconsistent with or not up to your standards and somehow deficient you should really check your own syntax and punctuation. After reading several of your posts I have discovered that you could benefit greatly from at least a fourth-grade English and grammer class. Such an endeavor would enhance your writing skills greatly in addition to enticing the target of your insults to take them seriously.
@toddadale As to my knowledge of our system of government, I'm a court reporter and have worked as such for one year shy of forty years. I've also reported Senate and House subcommittee hearings and the like. I have seen the vermin at work up close and personal, firsthand. I've even heard the Democrat members refer to themselves as members of the Democrat Party. Your ilk, it seems, is far more comfortable attempting insults than discussing facts as usual. Why am I not surprised? Sine die.
@toddadale And just so that you may feel more comfortable with your cyberspace tatic of unfettered insults, I'll be more than happy to send my physical address so that you may visit me and insult me face to face. I'm sure that the face-to-face discussion would prove far more interesting than the cowardly attacks you mount when there is no threat to your person over the internet. Or if you wish, feel free to have me come to you, and we'll work it that way. It's my pleasure to serve your needs.
As to your service to our country, I personally thank you. As to your politics, what it there to discuss? There is no changing the hard Right in this country. You all voted for Bush, and when that fell apart, you have rebranded yourselves as the Tea Party. You’re still the same right wing we have always had for the last 45 years.
@toddadale Not tea party, not hard right, not even a Republican (GOP). I am for the Republic, though. I did not vote for Bush; however, he was a far sight better than this fellow with no resume at all insofar as a real job and relations to the farthest left and the Weather Underground of my generation. As for my service to my country, I volunteered, and I need no thanks. It is what it is. I was fooled by the leaders of the "Democrat" party as to what I was fighting for. I am no D or R.
@MrNamvet As to your comment "Your ilk, it seems, is far more comfortable attempting insults than discussing facts" Webster's is the basic fact-checker of the western world, not your little stories.
As to your family tree, your resume, The Kennedy's, your invitation to insult you "face to face" and the rest of your diatribe; you have way to much time on your hands - Now go watch Fox News PAC like a good little GOP.
@toddadale Nor am I a Tea Party member. I am for the original meaning of Republic which abhored "political parties" and intended to make them illegal. Check the publishing date on your Webster's. I'm certain that the one I have which is nearly falling apart is far older. Definitions change with the years, and I feel confident that your Webster's contains the word "ain't," which, of course, mine does not. Unlike your chosen leader, I have no reason to apologize for my "little stories" (cont'd)
@toddadale nor my resume, nor my feelings about my country nor my willingness to defend my conservative leanings. Those leanings, though, are in line with the likes of Jefferson, Franklin, and company and not those of any whore of a political party. Both espouse and even agree on what they would like to have come to fruition. They are liars in that if that were truly the case it would have happened already, i.e., a balanced budget, immigration reform, etc. You have no clue who I am, yet cont'd
@toddadale you label me GOP. You are wrong. I, however, visited your profile in order to inform myself as to who you are. I am not surprised. Time on my hands? I'm an active Mason and Knights Templar, still practice my chosen profession, still actively compete in Slant Wing Chun competition and take care of my disabled son. I gain my information from many news sources in order to not be tunnel-visioned. What about you? As for the invitation, it stands. I take no instruction from your "ilk."
@toddadale And I suppose I'll have to consider your note a declination of my kind invitation to talk one-on-one. Perhaps Obama could arrange for us to have a beer together. Whatcha think?
@toddadale Well, that makes Jesse Jackson, the NAACP, the New Black Panther Party ... need we go on? They must all be Repubicans! Not to mention that I hear the word "nigger" used by black folks ten to one over its use by others. If I simply disagree with a black or brown person I'm racist. If they disagree with me or call me a derrogatory name they're simply expressing themselves under the 1st Amendment. It was foretold long ago that political correctnes would be our downfall. Here it is!
I lost interest after a couple sentences. No one cares about your opinion. Your vote counts the exact same amount as someone who picks their candidates based on how pretty their name sounds. Where's your constitution now?
@TheHoraceRoberts You may have lost interest, but you cared enough to comment. Whether you care about my opinion or not means nothing to me. I was not addressing you or your comment until now. The Constitution is what it is. It will not work, of course, unless this nation is moral. At the moment those who control the government are not. I pray it changes. I wish a better day for you and yours. You sound disgruntled. Sine die.
The constitution was written in 1787. Much of it is obsolete. When was the nation moral? In the 1800's when cheap labor from immigrants and blacks was used? Or in the 1950's when blacks couldn't eat with whites? Or when we killed the Native Americans? How about when we stole about half of Mexico's land because we wanted it? Remember that time we interred all the Japanese Americans? What about when we/you butchered innocent in VIETNAM?
The constitution was written for a society from over 200 years ago. Much of it is obsolete.
PS- When was America moral? When we butchered the Native Americans? Or when we stole half of Mexico's land? Or when we manipulated immigrants and blacks to give us cheap labor (still occurring)? Or when we wouldn't let Blacks eat with whites? Don't forget the lynchings, too. Perhaps it was when we butchered innocents in VIETNAM.
@TheHoraceRoberts Why are you using lame examples of the norms and morals of the times. Native Americans butchered each other at the time as do Mexicans today. Blacks sold their people to others and still do to this day. You even changed your message to have me butchering "innocents" in Vietnam, which I never did. I was sent by a Democrat regime under Johnson, and I killed no one who didn't attack me. As for stealing land from Mexico, read your history. We bought the land and forgave their
@MrNamvet .. debt to us. The Constitution is as relevant today as then. Truth is timeless. They witnessed and lived those troubled times and worked to prevent repeating the mistakes. They did foretell that if we weren't careful it would happen as it is happening today but that we must be the ones to correct it. As for seeing what I want to see, I would suggest that is your plight, boy. You have much study to do before debating me. Write what you ill; I'm done with you. Can't fix stupid.
I can't wait for all you old cold warriors to die out. Maybe then something will get done. Until then you all scream about socialism and communism until you hack up blood from your agent orange infested lungs. Want some history? The threat of communism died a good 20 years ago. You're a relic, your fears are relics, and your experiences are relics. You're living in the cold war, in Vietnam. Too old, stubborn and crystallized to educate yourself into modern times.
@TheHoraceRoberts What an intellgent post. Couldn't expct more from a punk. I fear nothing. Lost that ability in the jungle. My experiences are what they are, boy. Modern times and education are what I enjoy. Dealing with the likes of mental cripples and deficients is almost interesting but not challenging. You have no experiences worth comtemplating, your arguments are paper-thin, you refuse to listen and learn, and I can't fix stupid. And you are indeed that. Terminally stupid.
@MrNamvet Were you simply ignorant, devoid of facts, we could deal with that. You are the variety of stupid who will truly need to have history repeat itself in order to learn. What a shame. You're right. I have been sprayed with Agent Orange. It hasn't infested my lungs, though. The threat of communism? The Far East is rife with the plague, moron. If the Muslims don't get your punk ass the Koreans, Chinese, Russians, et al, will. You display your ignorance with each post. Enjoy life!
@MrNamvet Enjoy it while you can. We warriors were the type who provided you the ability to run your mouths no matter how stupid you are and backed the right, that worthless 1st Amendment, with the promise to give our lives to protect it. Feel free to publicly display your lack of knowledge. I and people like me signed that check to give all we had up to and including our lives, and we did it willingly and knowingly. At 18I was forced into a war I had not started and did not want.
@MrNamvet I "served" as did most of my generation because the Democrat government demanded it. I did it blindly for my country. I did it believing we could change something, aid people to freedom, and protect our country's interests. I would defend this country again if called. I do not wish for my countrymen to die, not even you. If, however, you would like my physical address so that you may come insult my to my face, pussy, I'll be more than happy to provide it. Or I'll come to you!
Communism in the far east isn't communism anymore. With a few minor exceptions such as North Korea, they are mostly communist only in title. China has liberalized its economy and only marginally liberalized its government. Are they taking our jobs? yes. But truthfully they need us just as much as we need them. They need our revenue, we need their low, low prices. Chances are as they become more economically successful their wages will rise, their currency will gain value, and
@TheHoraceRoberts Terminal. Economics 101, lad. The time when they need us is near an end. The need ceases when the dollar is so worthless as to make us unnecessary. When you search the internet to throw out your "learned" hypotheses, you should read and digest all of it. Secondly, you should read more than one article. Read 20 or 30 or more and come to a more considered conclusion. My opinion of you stands, worthless or not, and my invitation remains unanswered. Gee, what a surprise.
Sorry my friend, but I took Econ 101 a while back. Do you realize that as the dollar decreases in value our wages cost less and therefore make our labor cheaper and our exports more attractive? Economics 101 is a basic knowledge of economics. As with most things in life, economics is complicated. Read a few dozen books on economics. And if you somehow think fighting a stranger will make you correct or change anything then you must have taken a few too many punches yourself.
@TheHoraceRoberts It is quite apparent we are not friends, so a proper address is my screen name. Or Gary if you wish. At 20, a while back is not too distant so as to remember that as we ship jobs out of this country at an alarming rate because of our tax code we produce little other than services rather than product; therefore, the interest expressed by other countries becomes a moot point and nil. Not only have I read a few books, I have taught it at night. Complicated is a condition...
@MrNamvet .. of the mind, and I can understand that you are perplexed. If you have a few semesters I can bring you up to speed. Or you could read my book. Just the phrase "as the dollar decreases in value our wages cost less" indicates you are not careful even when making a point.
As for fighting a stranger, I doubt there would be much of a fight. Yes, it does change things! It improves my attitude and outlook on the day when I beat the daylights out of an arrogant dumbass! It's a rush
You have a book? Give me a title and I'll read it. If it's as correct as you appear to think your opinions are, then I would absolutely admit I'm wrong on any count. However, somehow I doubt the intellectual capacity of a man who challenges people to fights over the internet. It would be amazing to me if you matched the wits of F.A. Hayek, Krugman, Friedman, or any of the other economists whose policies I've studied. Here's a bit of psychology for you, Gary: Are you aware that
as people grow older their beliefs crystallize and they find themselves unable to cope with change? They simply just stop, frozen in time. Perhaps your beliefs were more prevalent in years past, but you're past your prime. You can't fathom being wrong or changing your mind. Crystallized. As I stated from the beginning, it's a shame that a fool's vote counts as much as mine. Alas, I think I'll survive just fine. Maybe when the cold warriors are gone the country can get to
making progress. There will be no one left to scream in terror of the spread of communism, or to call anyone who believes in provided fertile land for society to grow in a socialist. Your xenophobic, communist-fearing days are winding down. The tea party will either bury itself in false hopes (just as the democrats have in the past two years) or it will return us to the days of the Herbert Hoover. Is that what you'd prefer?
@TheHoraceRoberts As you have my first name you may research to find my publication. My opinions, of course, are just that. My challenge is of a personal nature and specific to you at this point. I note that for a person at the age of 20 you are a gutless wonder. I'll agree with the fool's vote portion of your comment and note my same lament regarding yours. Cold warrior. A second reference. As you are wont to use the term, you might note that I was a hot warrior and lived as well through
@MrNamvet ..the cold war. There is no terror nor screaming, as I've indicated before, in terror by me. I have concern only for my kids and even the likes of you, moron, and your future. Putting your head in the sand (or some other dark and biologically difficult space) will not protect you from what MAY loom ahead. I'm hardly a xenophobe. My friends and colleagues span nations and heritages, and I not only engage them, I aid them whenever possible. As I've stated, my preferences are ...
@MrNamvet .. a return to the days of the founders, of beliefs worth fighting for and the willingness to do so. Unlike you. With regard to change, I've embraced it not only in my personal life but in my career, and still do. I find it challenging and exciting. But as we've found of late, change for the sake of the word, as with Obama, is not always a good thing. Crystalized? I think not. I've been around to alpha and beta test programs in my industry and enjoy technology.
@MrNamvet I've gone from points and plugs to computerized ignition systems and drive trains. I have earned my way in this world, twerp, and don't need the likes of you inviting me to leave. It would be my belief that your kind invited Obama to take the reins and destroy this chunck of earth in the thought that that change would benefit us all. I have never and will never claim that I'm always right. I've been PROVEN wrong on an untold number of occasions Nothing wrong with that if one learns
@MrNamvet some lesson from it. You have the appearance and all the makings of a total fool with a fairly decent vocabulary and the ability to search the Web for some information to bolster your arguments, none of which will protect you when the truly motivated, well-armed, and organized surprise you and jerk your dumb ass out of your smoke-induced reality-deprived delusions. You are of the type who would have told the Jews they were old and crystalized and that Hitler was no threat to them.
@MrNamvet The world of your mindset napped while he roared across Europe. Cowards and neo-pacifists wrought death and destruction upon millions just as the regiems of the Middle and Far East do today. Folks like you don't have the balls to stand once again against such an aggressor. Mine was just such a test for you, and you failed miserably. I fear the best and most worthwhile part of you ran down your father's leg some 20-odd years ago. I am, of course, dying, but not quick enough for you
@MrNamvet Tough shit. All we old farts and soldiers are attempting to do is stick around long enough to ensure that there are enough like we were so that assholes like you are protected when the Vigaro hits the Vornado and you're not left up the proverbial body of water with no means of locomotion. You would have loved Lennon... John, of course. All you need is love! Were it only so. The human condition is such that were it not for those of us willing to fight for the likes of you, you'd be
@MrNamvet ...DEAD! Killed by the human animals who inhabit the earth whose only goal in life is to take all that you have the audacity to believe might be on loan to you from the Almighty! Make progress when we're gone?! If it's left to you and yours there will be no country to make progress in.
"A coward dies a thousand deaths, but the valiant taste death but once." Act 1 Scene 2 Line 32 of "Julius Cesear, Shakespeare.
I'm afraid your time's coming times 1,000, and we won't be here...
@MrNamvet ..to defend your ass. I have seen folks who sounded like you who have suddenly found their ass in a crack and no one to defend them, and their song strangely changes. I believe it's called "seeing the light." The unfortunate commonality amonst them all is that the "seeing" came just a tad too late.
Good thing folks like you were defeated somewhere in 1700's or there would be nowhere for your arrogant ass to live now where you could express your "opinions" so freely. Sine die!
@MrNamvet And, by the way, HorseAss, did it ever occur to you that you are essentially defeating your wishes and your purpose? Your responses and comments give me a reason to LIVE!!!! God, no progress will ever be made if you keep chattering away :P
@TheHoraceRoberts Do any research? We have more than the Middle East. The Progressives have stopped its production at this time. Tree huggers will have to be overcome, but we have more than enough.
@toddadale Hahaha, Whatever I've been called worse by much better folks. You lefties are going spastic in these final weeks I see. I've been getting all kinds of love letters from the loons recently. You parasites tipped your hand to soon and you woke America up. Thank you, And I take readneck as a compliment, (stupid) I own a herd of beef cattle and tipping breaks ribs. ( that's bad for the BBQ) And the klan is not in my area. (so there are no meetings)
It appears some comments on this are once again trying to blame Bush for things the Dems did. There was a Dem. Congress in the last two years of the Bush White House that kept spending. Yes, Bush should have vetoed more, but the Dems were the ones passing the laws. Also, the war didn't cost nearly as much as Obama has managed to spend since taking office - more than the EIGHT years prior! And Bush wanted to regulate the banks and Fannie and Freddie years ago but Dems said No!
replying to mrg5150, President Obama INHERITED a huge deficit from Bush's tax cuts and the illegal invasion of Iraq, not only the cost of that "war" but the ongoing medical care of the tens of thousands of wounded military. President Bush added FOUR TRILLION dollars to the National Debt, bringing it to 8 Trillion.Don't you know that McCain did not want to deal with that, and his advisers chose a VP sure to turn off voters. They wanted a SCAPEGOAT elected, knowing public's memory is short.
Would someone please get me out of jail......I broke all of these laws.....I say the Pledge, I have the wonderful flag displayed; I support a non-whit canidate that is NOT a democrat; I oppose the GIVING to the illegals.......I am a bad person.
I'm old enough to remember MLK and his unifying message. This president's divisive politics must have the Reverend MLK spinning in his grave. Shame, shame, shame.
And the final Raciall Crime of this Regime is: Not bowing to the Blithering Idiot Chicago Criminal Gangster in the Half White House upon his request and demand.
Ignoring Keith (this is AMERIKA, dammit!!!) Olberman, Rachel (who is she?) Maddow, and Chris (the thrill [up my leg] is gone) Matthews makes you a racist. Especially now that MSNBC's rating have hit an all-time low.
@haineko1101 - Yours is an entirely reasonable appraisal. It is indeed spot on. Clearly the individual you describe is trolling and has nothing of value to contribute to either this video comments section, nor to any of us in general. I feel sorry for his parents...they should be collecting rent for that basement bedroom but alas, no productivity=no job=no income=no rent. The end result is the vicious cycle of rashly generalized displaced aggression you see him play out here. He has our pity.
Hey you lazy Tea Bagger maybe you should direct your comments at me. Have the integrity if any left to talk to me. I know you Tea Baggers lack that but don't comfort yourself with haineko1101 or your local Tea Baggers.
For someone supposedly knows about the economic principles you don't seem to show it. Now tell me what kind of economic principles did Reagan practice for the entire 1980s? And tell me which President actually practiced socialism in the past few years?
@Einsteinbomb Reagan was openly an advocate of radical capitalism. However, in actual practice, his policies reflected a shift away from pure capitalism and towards a blend of capitalism and socialism.
As for which president practiced it... Nearly every president since the turn of the 20th century. The introduction of Social Security, for example, was in and of itself an implementation of a socialistic policy.
Ronald Wilson Reagan was a huge advocate of supply-side economics aka Reaganomics. At no point in history has a President ever been ever to practice pure capitalism (laissez-faire) in the United States. This is due to the existence of the Federal Bank and Federal Reserve. And please explain to me your understanding of what socialism is. I ask this to know if were on the right page.
@hisarrow I see. You have resorted to childish name calling instead of a substantive rebuttal. Do you know that tea-bagging is mainly practiced by homosexual men? You obviously have disdain for tea party members so by associating your negative feelings for tea party members with a mainly homosexual act ...you're appearing to be homophobic.
@rozmarija Republican administrations have allocated more funds to scientific research. This is a fact! Moral deficiency? How are democrats, moral? Is redistribution, moral?
@axe863 Republicans support "creation science", which is religion based, as most on the "right" claim to be religious. Democrats try to support healthy care and retirement security, which seems 'moral' in a secular way.
@rozmarija I love how some libs make gross generalizations. First of all, the "religious right" is a group within the party, not the party. Second, One can be religious and know the truth of evolution.
The further leftist segment of the Democratic party cant comprehend that the govt doesn't produce anything and thus, it obtains all funds from current or future generations. I don't understand how it is moral to "indebten" people that arent even born or to forcefully redistribute wealth
@axe863 Umm- I believe GWB took office when there was a huge SURPLUS, and left office when there was a huge DEFECIT. Feel free to accuse me of whatever pleases you, but I must wihdraw from this exchange due to limits on my goofing-off time.
@rozmarija I'm a libertarian republican. Btw, you should apologize to all the atheists/agnostics who believe in most of what the republican party stands for. They dont take kindly to being so idiotically lumped into such a category.
@rozmarija Under Bush's terms, there were two recessions & wars. Wars which were approved (I believe the president can only go to war for 90 days without congressional approval) by both Republicans & Democrats
@rozmarija What morally is there when govt limits the consumption of goods/services because it "socially unacceptable" or youre too stupid to make your own decision e.g. limiting the amount of fast food restaurants in a region & placing sin (LOL) taxes on certain goods.
You forgot...Anone who supports Arizona, virginia or any other state who is suing the Federal Government regarding the Obama Health Care Bill or Border control.

Damn right.
MrNamvet 1 year ago
Your Constitutional interpretation is not the same as mine. Your a Originalist, I believe in a Living Constitution. let's just end it there...
toddadale 1 year ago
@toddadale I think not. A living Constitution? That would indicate that whenever it's not convenient to your political agenda you may change what made this country great for a better idea. It would appear that the declination of our country has taken place as we bleed the "living Constitution" to death. The founders were in touch with what was wrong with the world they/we live in and created a set of rules to correct those flaws. We've corrupted those over the years. Here's what we have.

@toddadale It is the Republican Party, not Republic Party. When referred to in the situation you're using, the party names are Democrat Party and Republican Party. I do know my history and have listened to Beck probably half an hour since he was a blip on the radar, so before you make accusations, consider how foolish it makes you look when you're proven wrong.

toddadale 1 year ago
@toddadale Wikipedia can be edited by nearly anyone. If you believe all you read on Google and the like you would believe anything. Democratic is an adjective; Democrat is the noun. The Democrat party is far from democratic; hence, it is an improper use of the term. The educational system of this day and age is woefully inadequate, and those that would instruct you that Democratic Party is the correct useage is wholly and completely ignorant. It is indeed Democrat party.
MrNamvet 1 year ago
@MrNamvet Fox News and The GOP have been saying Democrat Party of about 5 years now - much like saying tea bagger, not Tea Party; its a slur. Webster dictionary states. Definition of DEMOCRAT
1
a : an adherent of democracy
b : one who practices social equality
2
capitalized : a member of the Democratic party of the United States
toddadale 1 year ago
@MrNamvet Your understanding of American History is about the same as Christine O'Donnell's understanding of the 1st amendment. As to our educational system, you could use some of it, since you are 100% ignorant of our nation's political party system.
toddadale 1 year ago
@toddadale Nice try. My family tree dates back to William Bradford, and we have many documents which I am privileged to have access to. We can discuss/argue how definitions have advanced to where they are, but civility ould be nice if you could manage it. I personally was taught Democrat party when Stevenson, a personal family friend, was running for President. It was not a slur then, and it's not a slur now. Just being accurate.
MrNamvet 1 year ago
@toddadale BTW, if you are going to insinuate that one's education level is inconsistent with or not up to your standards and somehow deficient you should really check your own syntax and punctuation. After reading several of your posts I have discovered that you could benefit greatly from at least a fourth-grade English and grammer class. Such an endeavor would enhance your writing skills greatly in addition to enticing the target of your insults to take them seriously.
MrNamvet 1 year ago
@toddadale As to my knowledge of our system of government, I'm a court reporter and have worked as such for one year shy of forty years. I've also reported Senate and House subcommittee hearings and the like. I have seen the vermin at work up close and personal, firsthand. I've even heard the Democrat members refer to themselves as members of the Democrat Party. Your ilk, it seems, is far more comfortable attempting insults than discussing facts as usual. Why am I not surprised? Sine die.
MrNamvet 1 year ago
@toddadale And just so that you may feel more comfortable with your cyberspace tatic of unfettered insults, I'll be more than happy to send my physical address so that you may visit me and insult me face to face. I'm sure that the face-to-face discussion would prove far more interesting than the cowardly attacks you mount when there is no threat to your person over the internet. Or if you wish, feel free to have me come to you, and we'll work it that way. It's my pleasure to serve your needs.
MrNamvet 1 year ago
As to your service to our country, I personally thank you. As to your politics, what it there to discuss? There is no changing the hard Right in this country. You all voted for Bush, and when that fell apart, you have rebranded yourselves as the Tea Party. You’re still the same right wing we have always had for the last 45 years.
toddadale 1 year ago
@toddadale Not tea party, not hard right, not even a Republican (GOP). I am for the Republic, though. I did not vote for Bush; however, he was a far sight better than this fellow with no resume at all insofar as a real job and relations to the farthest left and the Weather Underground of my generation. As for my service to my country, I volunteered, and I need no thanks. It is what it is. I was fooled by the leaders of the "Democrat" party as to what I was fighting for. I am no D or R.
MrNamvet 1 year ago
@MrNamvet As to your comment "Your ilk, it seems, is far more comfortable attempting insults than discussing facts" Webster's is the basic fact-checker of the western world, not your little stories.
As to your family tree, your resume, The Kennedy's, your invitation to insult you "face to face" and the rest of your diatribe; you have way to much time on your hands - Now go watch Fox News PAC like a good little GOP.
toddadale 1 year ago
@toddadale Nor am I a Tea Party member. I am for the original meaning of Republic which abhored "political parties" and intended to make them illegal. Check the publishing date on your Webster's. I'm certain that the one I have which is nearly falling apart is far older. Definitions change with the years, and I feel confident that your Webster's contains the word "ain't," which, of course, mine does not. Unlike your chosen leader, I have no reason to apologize for my "little stories" (cont'd)
MrNamvet 1 year ago
@toddadale nor my resume, nor my feelings about my country nor my willingness to defend my conservative leanings. I lost interest after a couple sentences. No one cares about your opinion. Your vote counts the exact same amount as someone who picks their candidates based on how pretty their name sounds. Where's your constitution now?
TheHoraceRoberts 1 year ago
@TheHoraceRoberts You may have lost interest, but you cared enough to comment. Whether you care about my opinion or not means nothing to me. I was not addressing you or your comment until now. The Constitution is what it is. It will not work, of course, unless this nation is moral. At the moment those who control the government are not. I pray it changes. I wish a better day for you and yours. You sound disgruntled. Sine die.
MrNamvet 1 year ago
@MrNamvet
TheHoraceRoberts 1 year ago
@MrNamvet

Chances are as they become more economically successful their wages will rise, their currency will gain value, and
TheHoraceRoberts 1 year ago
@TheHoraceRoberts Terminal. Economics 101, lad. The time when they need us is near an end. The need ceases when the dollar is so worthless as to make us unnecessary. When you search the internet to throw out your "learned" hypotheses, you should read and digest all of it. Secondly, you should read more than one article. Read 20 or 30 or more and come to a more considered conclusion. My opinion of you stands, worthless or not, and my invitation remains unanswered. Gee, what a surprise.
MrNamvet 1 year ago
@MrNamvet
TheHoraceRoberts 1 year ago

I feel sorry for his parents...they should be collecting rent for that basement bedroom but alas, no productivity=no job=no income=no rent. The end result is the vicious cycle of rashly generalized displaced aggression you see him play out here. He has our pity.

Those who show that a single volcano in 2010 Iceland produced more CO2 than has all of humankind & its technology in history.
Those who illuminate that carbon dioxide is a product of human breath.
Those who demonstrate that there are 3 times as many oxygen-producing trees trees on this planet than there were 100 years ago.
Those who point out that the global warming hoax is based on junk science.
Those who say carbon-credits are a ponzie scheme based on a hoax.

Add "Knowing the principles of economics and objecting to unwise spending policies on those grounds" to the list.

@haineko1101
For someone supposedly knows about the economic principles you don't seem to show it. Now tell me what kind of economic principles did Reagan practice for the entire 1980s? And tell me which President actually practiced socialism in the past few years?
Einsteinbomb 1 year ago
@Einsteinbomb Reagan was openly an advocate of radical capitalism. However, in actual practice, his policies reflected a shift away from pure capitalism and towards a blend of capitalism and socialism.
As for which president practiced it... Nearly every president since the turn of the 20th century. The introduction of Social Security, for example, was in and of itself an implementation of a socialistic policy.

@haineko1101

Sheesh, nerds are annoying, even paranoid tea-bagger nerds.

Ha, supporting a Republican candidate is simply a sign of mental and moral deficiency.
rozmarija 1 year ago
@rozmarija Republican administrations have allocated more funds to scientific research. This is a fact! Moral deficiency? How are democrats, moral? Is redistribution, moral?
axe863 1 year ago 2
@axe863 Republicans support "creation science", which is religion based, as most on the "right" claim to be religious. Democrats try to support healthy care and retirement security, which seems 'moral' in a secular way.
rozmarija 1 year ago

@rozmarija Omg... you must really hate the current administration now !!! Theyre spending at a rate far greater than Bush could even dream.

@rozmarija Btw, congrats on completely glossing over my arguments.

@rozmarija I'm a libertarian republican. Btw, you should apologize to all the atheists/agnostics who believe in most of what the republican party stands for. They dont take kindly to being so idiotically lumped into such a category.
axe863 1 year ago
@rozmarija Why did Bill have such a surplus? Think really hard about something called..... a tech bubble.
axe863 1 year ago
@rozmarija Can a single individual or a portion of a group fully characterize the entire dynamics of each individual within the entirety of the group.
You're generalizing to an extreme degree.
axe863 1 year ago
@rozmarija Under Bush's terms, there were two recessions & wars. Wars which were approved (I believe the president can only go to war for 90 days without congressional approval) by both Republicans & Democrats
axe863 1 year ago
@rozmarija What morally is there when govt limits the consumption of goods/services because it "socially unacceptable" or youre too stupid to make your own decision e.g. limiting the amount of fast food restaurants in a region & placing sin (LOL) taxes on certain goods.
