  • Is that Ibanez GRG series ????

  • @nepotiums No, it's the "RG" series. This is the RG-570 model from 1999-2000 which is now currently the RG Prestige 1570 in the newer lineups. Thanks for watching!

  • @CoffeeDrinker71 Thanks buddy and good jam !

  • great intro! I have an RG just like this. Is yours made in Japan too? I really like the feel of the neck on this guitar. Thinking about puting some different pick-ups in it later down the road. Does yours have the V7 & V5 pick-ups?

  • @LoganUpABongHit Thanks for commenting! Yeah, this was made in Japan in 2000 I believe. The neck is the sweetest one I've ever felt. The pickups are V7 and V8 and I like them. If I had to switch, I would definitely go with Dimarzios.

  • @CoffeeDrinker71 I have the exact same RG570 in 'Sour Apple Mirage'(your color), I have 2 actually. The first 2 numbers of the serial# the year it was made, my black one begins F00 (made in 2000) and my green one F99(made in 1999). The 'F' in the beginning of the number indicates that it was made in the FujiGen factory, where the 'Prestige' models are still made to this day. DiMarzio Crunch Lab in the bridge, and a PAF Joe in the neck, I've never head a better sounding Ibanez (I've owned 14).
