Any band facing a New Orleans band for mardi gras would be unfair, every out of town band I see on that parade route are exhausted while the New Orleans bands are playing away!

Well finally somebody has posted the truth. This was my senior year and I was one of the four drum-majors for The Marching 100. The funny thing is we weren't even playing to our full ability. This parade was totally different from what we are use to, but still all in all none of the bands that were out there were on our level. The Detroit All-Star or Stephenson was ready for the Purple and Gold, so I guess next time they meet, they might be better prepared.

You're young so I'll give you a pass. St. Aug has busted the asses of many all-star bands including LLI over the years. I shouldn't be that way I know, but it's what it s. Matter of fact N.O. top bands have handed L's to some smaller college bands.

I'm talking pre-katrina ofcourse, N.O. bands are average now.

The only Atlanta band that could touch the Aug was Southwest Delkab, everytime those to bands met over the years it was like clash of the titans!

New Orleans bands marching anywhere from 20-90, before the storm we'd march from about 40-180+.

Even though Atlanta bands have always been some of the biggest of the nation, we've always came with the dynamite effect, small yet powerful! St. Aug, Carver, Reed, all smashed when going to out of town competitions.

If swd could touch yall then Stephenson would 2. Because back in that time stephenson ALWAYS had swd's head at jamboree, games, botb etc. ALWAYS! I have the tapes on my favorites to prove it. So plz learn some history about atlanta bands, becuz if you ask anyone in the atl area what band was KILLING ALL other bands during the 99-2006 era, it was stephenson. And if you think swd and aug was big you have obviously never been 2 any swd games or jambo we had the true BIGGEST rivals in ATL. ask any1

both shs and swd was pushing 350+ members and they both had EXCELLENT football teams. So when the 2 meet during games etc. it was ALWAYS like World War 2. So like i said learn some history about our program b4 saying anything about us. And as far as this tape go we OBVIOSUly sound alot better and wayyy bigger
