Hello Gata, many places to fish the shore at Crawling Valley. I have done both here, shore fished and fished with a boat and some days i do better fishing the shoreline !!!!!
Is there lots of shore fishing areas? and what is good to use?....moved here from manitoba a few years ago, lots of pike and walleye there, but hard to find good places here in southern alberta, unless you have a boat.
Thanks, there are much bigger fish in this little pond. Saw a guy yard a 47 inch pike that weighed 27 lbs from the very spot im standing in this video.
Yes I know and what a fishery I must say, I spend a lot of time in the spring here at Crawling before the winter run-off has finished on the Bow River. I love crawling for sure, I have seen your pic's in the snack shack as you enter the campground. MASSIVE.
6 lbs my ass that fish be 25 inches and 3 pounds.. maby

@Flytyinkid Yeah could be only 3-4 pounds, I don't really know for sure. We never weighed it so you might be right on that one.....

was at the dam side of the res and caught one little walleye on monday...is there other good spots you know of or what to use?bait...lures?

Thank you, there are some massive Pike and Huge Walleye in this body of water. One of my favorate walleye fisheries.
