@barrabacius Lucifer was added by St Jerome in his Vulgate in the 1600's I believe. It is a combination of a Greek and Roman word to describe something that had no translation. If you read the Old Testament in Hebrew, Isiaiah wasn't referring to Satan at all. He was referring to the current king at the time, Heylel I believe.

@barrabacius Regardless of whether or not St. Jerome was right or wrong you asked how dkid the name lucifer get into the Bible and the explanation I gave you is 100 percent correct. The point is that the word Lucifer was not part of the hebrew text until Jerome put it there.

Isaiah was speaking to the king of Tyre, in the first paragraph he refers to him as such but in the second paragraph he refers to him as "Lucifer" [Light-Bearer] this was to draw a parallel between the king and the entity who sought to "ascend above the heights of the clouds" and be like the Most High. He was basically saying that the king was exalting himself to the anger of the True God.

Also, Zebulun (jahbulon) comes from the semitic root "zbl" which was the title of Baal! Much in the way the vowels in Yahweh (YHWH) were put there because none existed in order to pronounce.

Does anybody remember one of the twelve tribes of Israel names Zabulon? Well Zabulon comes from thd Hebrew Zebulun that means to "dwell together" or "inhabit" The word derives from Zabal which means to "exhalt." Zabal sounds pretty close to "Cabal!" Zebulun was a son of Jacob and confessed that no sin was found in him and no wrong in him even though he was aware of the consipracy to kill Joseph. He kept this secret from Jacob because he feared his brothers. Cabal = Conspiracy / Just a theory.
