Chinese, Malay, Indian, Peranakan, Eurasian.. and most of all, the HATI of M'sia, I carry these with me whenever I go. I lived there in my childhood days and even though I was not born there, I most definitely consider it my Home! 'Nak balik kampung some day!!

I went last September and was surprised. Very cool city. I was even more surprised to see an economic boom in action. Help wanted signs everywhere. In English! A flag that looked so American and a young democracy on the verge of enormous new wealth and development. I call it, "the other little America, tropical style." I arrived on Merdeka, August 31st, Independence Day, and it was nice, but being Ramadan, the festivities were scaled back. Monorail riding was a blast of a party! Very happy vibe.
i went to malaysia in 2000 and 2004. i stayed in kl for full 1 year. i love these photos and the sequence of the photos. these city has many secrets. great food, great people, peaceful and warm. i may go to malaysia again because i discovered myself in kl....
Seriously malaysia is the best asian wplace to live in. U know why- we r aka known as Little america, but with asian culture and little dash of western. U go tokyo or seoul, may be advance- but do u like a small home and crowded place. Obviously not
yup...KL is one of the most economical cities in the entire world...
but there are plenty of facilities and modern.must i say. so, u can actually enjoy living at 5-star hotels with the cheapest fare in asia.perhaps, the hotels are actually among the finest in the world...;p
i been to Seoul many times, and i hate it, been to shanghai nice but not as nice as i thought besides the ladies, now Tokyo is nice through out, But KL is absolutely fabulous.. thats my humble opinion..

I'm a Malaysian living abroad (as with many other Malaysians these days), and I can truly say that I miss Malaysia from the bottom of my heart. The lifestyle, the food, the people, the atmosphere, (the traffic jams =P).
I haven't been able to comment for over a month due to some issue with the YouTube site which has now finally been resolved by YouTube.
Thanks to all for the nice comments so far for this slideshow. Which was just an experiment using Windows MovieMaker. KL and Malaysia 'rocks', I look forward to going back again (like a lot of you) one day soon.
Been about 5 weeks since my trip to Malaysia. Kula Lumpur is kool. I did not think much of it when I was there, coz we went there after stayin in Borneo at nice 5 star resort. ( slideshow of resort in my profile) But I miss it now, Sunway lagoon was fun and I liked the mall in the Pretrona towers. When im 18 I will return to Malysia.
I have been visiting KL twice a year for the last 5 years and can never get enough of it! Always changing for the better and so much going for it. Give it up BN.
Brings back memories of my holiday to Malaysia in 2004 with my malaysian girlfriend at the time,i miss malaysia and I miss my girlfriend who now lives in singapore.
