I used to live in Israel . trust me it's amazing there!!! If anyone goes to visit you guys have to go to the Dead sea or Eilat! AMAZING! but be careful if any dead sea water gets in your eye you might be blind, but forever.

Everytime i hear of the dead sea i think about the biblical account of when fire & sulphur rained down in the region & Lots' wife was turned into a pillar of salt.I don't know about the medicinal benefits of the water, but if it's working for some folks great.I might not mind taking a dip in myself just for the experience.Mainly though,i'd like to visit the area for a biblical history perspective.

@Bettyboop888 its true. I went to both the Israel side and Jordanian side. The Jordanian side, you have more than 10 5 star hotels, great service, YOU CAN SEE THE SUNSET, they have a whole big section for mud. So yeah, the dead sea in Jordan is much better than Israel.

There is something I wanted to point out that is clearly visible in the video (fortunately): You can see a type of haze or thin fog above the water of the Dead Sea. I remember something about that from another video of how this haze contributes to the overall positive effect that the Dead Sea water, mud and high pressure have on human beings.

Lake Assal, Garabogzakol, and the Don Juan Pond all have a higher salinity %. The Last one being 18x more salty than the oceans, where the Dead Sea is only 8x
