I think Indian people smell spicy is because in NYC most apartments and houses dont have great ventilation. Some Houses only have windows in the front and the back. Since there is a house stuck to them on the right and left they cant make windows there. Same goes for apartments. When Indian food is cooked the smell stays in the house being absorbed by the clothe, furniture, carpet, beds and above all the skin.

Plus we dont eat strange animal and bird products like Westerners or East Asians. Foie gras, Tongue, chinese dog dishes..Eww we only eat chicken, fish and mutton (or beef if you are not a Hindu or Sikh). Mostly we eat what grows on God's good earth vegetables, grains and lentils

I think Indian people smell spicy is because in NYC most apartments and houses dont have great ventilation. Some Houses only have windows in the front and the back. Since there is a house stuck to them on the right and left they cant make windows there. Same goes for apartments. When Indian food is cooked the smell stays in the house being absorbed by the clothe, furniture, carpet, beds and above all the skin.
