  • Vahchef,

First of all, i'd like to let you know that I've recently begun cooking and your teachings inspire me. Thank You so much.

I tried this recipe today and ensured that there was literally NO water in the vegetables (which made the mixing easier). I used chopped almonds instead of cashew nuts and added mustard seeds and for the coating, i used egg mixed with a little water and fried this in HOT oil. Vah cutlets Vah !!! my my, this turned out to be an awesome crispy starter :) ..

  • ur recipes are amazing...i tried this cutlet but my cutlets did't turn out to be crispy.wat was wrong with my preparation?ur reply will be of grt help n i thgt if we can add some corn flour to the ingredients?

  • @zenithhussain

your dish will get that crispyness if

    1. you ensure the vegetables are not containing the slightest amount of water (i added 2 TBS of bread crumbs just to be sure).

    2. after the egg and bread crumbs coating, fry in HOT oil and add in many pieces to avoid burning.

  • Hi,

I really love the way you usually teach in your show but this particular recipe is very difficult to follow. The reason which I feel is mostly because you have compared it to your Manchurian recipe which I did not listen to and the whole part after the "mixed vege" part it got confusing.

But nonetheless, your efforts are more than appreciated by my family and especially myself who did not dare to cook much before I got to your show.
