That piece about the Argentines feigning surrender and then murdering the British soldiers as they approached to accept it and take them into captivity brings immense shame on Argentina in general. Not even the nazis were so pathetic and cowardly as to resort to this. It makes me sick.

Imagine if, when the thousands of Argentine soldiers surrenderely at Port Stanley, the British had shot them all. That would have been no worse than what was done by those feeble excuses for men. Barbarians.

Actually, the nazi's, as well as the Sovjets, often feigned surrender and then shot those who approached to accept surrender. This was first done by the Sovjets in '41, and it was widely deployed by nazi's against allied soldiers in '44 and '45. I don't want to defend the actions of these Argentinian soldiers, it's just that the nazi''s in fact did this too.
