yeah it is indeed... the people of forum dot thinkpads dot com have helped me a lot, since they have had these problems too ;) but sad to say that the manufacturer acted like nothing was happening...
Well, i have solved this problem long ago by re-soldering the GPU (it was on 280 degrees of Celsia). Do you still think the computer components are so much vulnerable? :P
Got same issue with my r32 and my dads old r40

i think loose GPU is a common problem on the T40-42's too

you should never touch the component's in the computer like that couse you kan short-circuit the component's :P
