@Gibbas27 Inhales usually sound more unnatural then exhales mainly because it is unnatural for your voice. Basically its just sucking the air in and controlling the pitch with your throat. Problem with inhales is that it sounds weaker and can damage your throat, plus a lot of people suck at them EXCEPT for this singer right here! Exhales come from your diaphragm just like normal singing and is a lot more powerful and distinguished then inhales, but its harder to do and takes a lot of practice.

@742617044427 A lot of it sounds inhaled... Like I understand some gutterals can sound basically the same as inhales but this seriously sounds inhaled. Plus, at the end of "He's Coming Back" (after the really long silence) he does the style without instruments and its even easier to distinguish. Plus, he holds the growl way too long for it to be exhaled.

and with the right technique it can sound pretty much like inhaled

and the thing that he holds the growl for so long is just because he simple has a pretty good breathing technique or just a massive amount of air in his lungs, a good example for someone who can hold a growl pretty long would be phil bozeman (whitechapel) or dez fafara (devil driver) and they are both doing exhales only
