  • Definitely did not lose the tail, looks more like you dumb thumbed it!!! Happens to everyone.

  • Is that the "settle with power" or "power settling" phenomena?

  • naa can not do nose in

  • inversion loooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooool

  • I made the same mistake on my RC-Heli simulator.

  • to much smoke

  • Ouch. Houston, we have a problem.

  • I bet you learned how to nose in hover after this huh?

  • lol

  • $800.00 dollar cigar

  • There was no loss of tail control. The pilot lost control because he had not trained himself in nose-in hovering.

  • 98% of this was smoke and noise, 2% excitement. Just like NASCAR.

  • did it brake?

  • Best part was 2:42

  • Retract fail at 0:30 an again at 0:35 !

  • would be nice to add "RC" to the title of the video...

  • Greate idea anyway, to fly an RC helicopter under power lines.^^

  • Beautiful body with the most annoying sound - reminds me of someone I once knew.

  • hahhahahaha ohhh thats a shame

  • 2:39 jump for the good part :)

  • What are you burning in that thing, whale oil?

  • Sorry this wasn't a tail rotor failure it was definately brain error nose in. I had a tail rotor failure yesterday shot up to 20 foot of the ground and span out of control like a top back to earth lol couldn't help but laugh and cry at same time.

  • Sorry this wasn't a tail rotor failure it was definately brain error nose in.

  • nice heli, felt for you in the crash,we've all been there.

  • I hope you have another 1500.00 dollars. Why don't you fly it closer to the power lines next time ? Then we really could have seen something that would have been worth watching.

  • i lost tail control?? Looked more like a wrong input when you went into a nose in hover. I love the way modellers always find a reason for a crash that has nothing to do with human error. lol

  • that's a toy helicopter, not a bell 222. downvoted.

  • to save time , edit this crap. we only want to see the last 10 seconds!! actually 5 seconds would have sufficed.

  • Crash at 2.39

  • As soon as he went into a head on hoover he lost it. Apparently he forgot to reverse his thought processes and control inputs.

  • @QuboCompa head on hoover?? wtf is that?

  • That's it man

  • That was so funny. I don't know RC helicopters but beeing a Helicopter pilot, that really didn't look like loss of tail rotor. It looked like you just screwed up. Wait I have to watch it again. Hahahaha that is just too funny man.

  • wery good asshole

  • I just shed a tear for ya. Tuff luck.

  • dude, why would you attempt nose in on a scale 222 when you obviously can't do it.....it was a nice bird...sorry for the loss, but you should get a sim or practice nose in on a pod and boom heli

  • ahh man - that sucks , but thanks for putting that vid on youtube - bro I can't hover nose it either lol - I had a nice heli ....... key word ..... Had

  • Nose in hover will get ya every time :( Been there.

  • Looks like someone doesn;t know how to hover nose in

  • 2:40 for crash - thumbs up so people don't waste their lives ..

  • 172 people didn't like my new mosquito fogger....

  • am i the only one who laught at this?

  • at the end iwas like "wheres the crash?" and the boom XD nice vedoi

    R.I.P helicopter

  • OMGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG

  • Learn your nose in flying on a cheap/non scale heli first

  • That would have cost some money, I would be very upset at that crash

  • practice ure nose in hover on the sim

  • Wow...talk about the silliest place on Earth to fly a RC Helo! Lets see now...hi-power lines, fences, animals...yeah, that about covers it! Pick a soccer field or a large pasture/RC airfield next time...ka ching!

  • You know, it is amazing to see all of the ignorant people who like to comment on things on the web... It runs on methanol which the greenies seem to think is better than gasoline. The smoke is because he is running it super rich to extend the life of the engine. Just because you can see the "smoke" doesn't mean it is worse than the stuff you can't see. The fuel is pre-mixed. The richness is a carb adjustment. Sorry about the crash. Those hurt!

  • @dnjuandmrk

Actually the smoke is because it is a 2 stroke engine like a garden trimmer, and the oil is run fairly rich usually at a 4 to 1 mix + 10 to 20 percent nitromethane.

  • @OutbackKanga Yes, but the amount of smoke shows a rich carb setting. Helis don't get as much air flow to cool the engine so most pilots run the engine fairly rich to extend the life of the engine. You won't see as much smoke from cars and planes that have the carbs set to run in the power band.

  • contributing with polution even while playing with toys

  • Global Warming...Check

  • Cough Cough Cough !

Sorry to see that, been there, it hurts !

  • who is the tard that mixed the gas and oil so rich?

  • It was a nice helicopter... That sucks man

  • Stupid error cause cash problems

  • Someone call the EPA!!!!

  • sorry dude, but that was classic nose in mistake and not tail failure, also it looks like someone should have called the fire brigade with all that smoke. Nitro sucks, electric is so today. More time on the sim will save you lots of dollar!

  • It's common mistake...opposite aileron when face to face!

  • Yeah, wait 2:42 seconds and only 1 second of fun-time!

  • Thank God it finally crashed. The sound of that motor was starting to bug me.

  • @mogeroithe

That's exactly what the neighbor said seconds before shooting it down with a pellet rifle.

  • as i'm sure everybody else has said...not a tail rotor issue...user malfunction...the helicopter did exactly what it was supposed to do when its flown by somebody who doesn't know anything...pretty cool that you can here either rocks or pieces of the main rotor hitting the side of a building probably a good 50-100 meters away.

  • THE FILM IS GOOD !

  • too bad :(

  • What's it doing? Crop spraying?

  • GO FISHING, IT's SAFER FOR EVERYBODY.

  • All that smoke is why I fly electric or turbine only!

  • Fast forward this video to 3:37, thats the crash ...

  • doesnt look like you lost tail control...looks like you lost your orientation and slammed it in the ground lol. when the nose is facing you you know right is left and left is right. get some flight sim time before blow more money on a lame crash.

  • need some orientation training

  • that thing smokes like a sob!

  • I love the well done realistic exhaust ports. Then you see a little helicopter dick shootin smoke everywhere!!

  • Mummy, Airwolf is cooler then this one.

    Now I need one.

  • is this guy fumigating or what!

  • Yeah @gsotodotcom, I was joking. I think the engine is "a little bit rich" There is one thing for sure: moskitoes must be far away from that chopper :-)

  • loolololololol

  • great mosquito fogger!

  • Nice heli, but practice a bit first simulator!=)

  • mdr sais un fumigene que ya a l'avant ? si non joli crash le pilote doit etre fier !

  • what happend?

  • Too lean!! Too lean!! Loosen the needle screw :-)

  • @ltz400k6 you mean too rich.

  • at least the heli's paint matches the barn

  • why that much smoke?

  • Airplanes have fewer places to land, than helicopters, when the engine quits.

  • have fun with your whirling blades of death, airplanes are much safer.

  • @Level5chris so do airplane genius

  • much too nice of a heli for a beginner...

  • ESSE VIDEO PODIA TER 20 SEGUNDOS

  • haha SMOKE BOMB DOWN! SMOKE BOMB DOWN!

  • I_()I_ it look like your mixture is to rich haha it looks like a smoke bomb/Fan

  • dang, i'm really sorry dude, it happens all so fast.

  • Def pilot error there. I fly a modified Falcon 40 and trust me, you can lose control of heli's in an instant. You have to constantly assess what the heli is doing, it's relative position, along with your inputs and environmental variables.

Flying these things takes ALOT of skill and total focus. Hopefully you got that bird rebuilt and in the air, where it belongs! :-)

  • smoke belching heli you are under arrested MBI

  • to much smoke, but the crash was good ^^

  • lol

  • This is what you get for making me waste my time

  • moooore oil

  • pf mas aburrido el buelo -.-, eso te pasa por no saver volar .a,

  • This video should be cut to the last 5 seconds

  • I never understand why people buy nitro heli's when they don't have thier orientations down yet. That hurts the wallet ...

  • it was a pilot error, he got disoriented i think. shit happens! it was a nice heli though.

  • Well I am going to say it was operator error, looks like another got turned confused with backwards controls

  • runnin rich asss

  • As I was loading this video I began watching something else & went back to it 15 or so minutes later and as I was watching I forgot it was a "crash" video. And it made me jump the moment it crash like OOOOOOOoooooohhh Dam!!!!!

What a bummer. I hope you fixed it right away and got back in the air like a real pilot should. Get that fear out of you.

    Nice Chopper though. Very nice.

  • oooww,what a terrible sound , very sad :( 2:42

  • ohh mannn that is/was a nice heli did you get it fixed? my dad has had a few helis with shells like the lynx and he also had a BK-117 that was a beast 6ft by 2ft hes had alsorts

  • wanna sell some of them to me ?...i'm sure your da wont notice

  • aint got em

  • hey u r running to rich with the motor + that is bad 4 it

  • too rich is never bad for the motor, less power. Also he was probably breaking in the engine, and might even have been using 30% fuel to have more power and lubricants. Thats why so much smoke

  • i cant believe i just waited 2:42 seconds to see 1 second of the only part i wanted....

  • @JonnyHeather123 ... You nailed it in the comment dept' !! ...I thought the excessive smoking thing was going to blow it up or something LOL but, no it flipped over at the end.

  • @JonnyHeather123

    Thanks for advice!

    I started at 2:40.

  • ich dachte bis zum schluss, das der crash durch die Stromleitungen passiert ;-)

  • wow...Sieht im ersten moment wie echt aus...

aber am schluss das ist hart...ist die schwer zu fliegen und wie teuer ist die eigentl.?

    and nice smoke machine

  • nice smoke machine...

  • damn. ah well better luck next time

  • when i see a "crash" video, i want a crash right away please

  • @9848674445 There should be an age limit needed for people to comment

  • true that =P

  • @9848674445 Meant you

    go play with lego

  • @warderseeker ok, i will =P

  • nothing attractive about all the smoke and noise..gimme an electric heli anyday..and a simulator

  • oh no.....holy shit!!!!

  • man you MUST practice nose in on a simulator before risk this beautifull and expensive bird, sorry to what happen

  • suck shit

  • Ooooops! Lol

  • ahahahahh!! big crash!! XD

  • left stick = lean left! Oh wait, when facing me left stick=lean right!! Damn, too low. You need to put the training sticks back on and hop around the ground in all positions for a few more hours.

2007... nevermind. if you didn't give up yet, you're probably a pro by now.

  • i dare u to stick your finger in there

  • ouch, how much did it cost to fix?

  • thats a T-REX 600 with a body kit!

  • if you watch closely you can see little money signs fly away when it crashes.

  • @noahdh LOL!

  • I think the guy flying must be the same guy who built the motor. Nice scatter pattern, though.

  • yeah thats disoriented if it was tail the helicopter more than likely would have either span out of control or drifted out of control that kinda did a left hand slide into the ground as if you were trying to correct it that sucks though

  • Same troubels overhere. As soon my heli starting to look at mee, i know there is work to doo........

  • You didn't lose tail control. You were disoriented. I could see from the way you flew the heli that you were not comfortable with it nose in for extended periods. The angle of the heli when it went down was likely 270 degrees from you and those are tough. I spent more than 6 months flying my first heli within 30 yards at low altitude getting comfortable with all attitudes. Takes tons of patience but it pays off. Good luck with the next one!

  • @mkranitz Had to go back 11 months but I'm glad somebody else noticed it was not a tail control issue.

  • ow...

  • hope everybody survived the pilot should have notice all the smoked before he took off

  • are u stupid? cant u see its a RC helli

  • Blahblahmofo. Didn't you see the people smiling for the window's?

  • or you purchased the I can not find! please

  • man that sucks!

  • ohh man

  • thats to bad mate! :D

  • Essa máquina é show de bola!

  • ahiaaa..

  • haha

  • lol

  • global warming....:P

  • yeah gojira - global warming

  • I liked the sound: Everything was fine until... BANG!

  • Not enough SIM time my friend ....That wasn't a lost tail but a loss of orientation ability. Happens to us all mostly all)...Well it's like they say with this hobby, SIM,SIM,SIM,tinker ,tinker ,tinker, fly, crash, spend, tinker, tinker, tinker,SIM,SIM,SIm some more, SIM ,SIM, crash, spend, tinker, tinker ,tinker, SIM, SIM, fly ....repeat...

  • yeah no tail control loss there . it turned nose in on you

  • Learn to fly and learn nose in its a good ideia before fly a scale helicopter!

Cof, cof, cof.... to much smoke cof cof

Because this I fly electric helicopters rsrsrs!

  • You didn't lose the tail, you lost the whole heli! Got a bit nose in, the nose came up and you pulled back cyclic! Ahh well, live and learn!

  • airwolf

  • this is what happens when you fly a helicopter beyond your means. lesson learned?

  • too rich!

  • I am agree with dangerousprimate this crash is very expensive. Sorry for you helicopter. Really was a nice flight. See you.

  • expensive!!!

  • i'm sure the problem wasn't that the piston was seized. It looked like the fuel to oil ration was 1:1.

looked to me like you had a brain fade, not a tail rotor loss.

  • indeed. it looked like you where trying to fly side in. And corrected the wrong way. It could be that the gyro was drifting but still you also corrected the wrong way.

If you think something is wrong with your heli enable Trottlehold. You should have enough power in the blades to make a landing but if it goes wrong you will have less damage.

    Sorry for you loss :(
