No kidding! I still have the GBA version of Yoshi's Island. My oldest file on there has about 400-something extra lives. Yeah, I played that game a lot. ^^''

That depends on your 'Mario' platforming skills really. If you don't mind spoilers, take a look at the final castle on Part 40 of the Let's Play. If not, then I'll just say that it's surprisingly short, in my opinion.
