I love playing double bass, but there is nothing more boring than this death metal drumming that just machine guns the living fuck out of every groove. I see my double-bass as more of a tool to add some really nice texture to fills or make grooves more snappy.

@shoutuper...what i do to get that metal sound of my bass drum is, i loosen the beater side of the skin very loose and then stuff some muffle up against the skin....it works!
