    he had a major car accident in 1982 . i think a brother died too but am not sure. i think it was bad timing. if this was out in late1984 it would have done better. this was out at the height of the new wave invasion late 1983.

  • @belpernews , KC had a head-on car accident in 82 that left him partially paralyzed. He had to learn how to do everything over again...walk, play piano, dance, etc...this song came out in 84, so it's possible that he was still in the learning process after all his physical therapy and recovery. Just a thought?? I had noticed how he didn't have the same kind of upbeat movements that he used to have, and then realized it was probably because of the accident & partial paralysis.
