  • Does this work in tgeir pistols?

  • nice vid. does the same bascially work on the 9mm carbine

  • @utubecenseorstruth No idea?

  • Thxs a bunch Paul!!I have there 45 pistol I love! im a fan of Hi Point.how do like there carbine?Ive seen yt vids seem on spot at 300 yards on the 9mm how far on the 45 you think.thxs again for your great vid.

  • @bennra26008

Both the 9mm and 45 carbine are intended as yard sweepers 50 yard max, although you could reach out to 100 yards on larger targets.

  • Great video, just made a 15 round clip for 45 pistol in about 15 minutes. Your method is much cleaner and I feel better than others I have seen on youtube. Sure it would be quicker to dremmel it and bend with pliers but the end result is not as nice.

  • @PaulsWackyWorld are you going answer my question its been weeks for since I posted

  • @Barunnie1

1st - Someone flagged you question as SPAM , not me. As far as I know any 1911 (single stack) magazine will work ??? even a Colt. But don't try sticking it back in a 1911 !

  • can you use the colt 1911 high capacity magazine 15 round. for the hi point 45 carbine if you modify the mag as you did..

  • As much as I would love to see a hi-cap mag for this gun, I just would rather use 2 or three 9-round mags, instead of having a yard-stick poking out of the bottom of the pistol grip.

  • @ptschafer Thats why I didn't get a crazy big magazine

  • Thanks for a very helpful video.

I haven't been able to find the ProMag.

  • Good old American ingenuity. Thank you sir.

  • This is great. thanks for one of the best mods I have ever seen for a hi-point!

  • Subscribed for awesomeness and for quirky old people sense of humor and ingenuity, good job Sir! :)

  • hello i just purchased my hi point 45 carbine today for $350 with tactical light, foward grip, strap and one magazine(ugh)... good buy? Also i dont mean to be repetitive and ask the same question , but so what you are saying is there is no high capacity magazine for this rifle available at all????? i am not that great with my hands nor trust myself to make any adjustments to a magazine myself....would you be willing to put a couple together and sell to mr?????

  • @pennysun86 ProMag makes a 15 round mag for it. They had some problems with the initial (A1) model so don't get it. But they seemed to have worked out the kinks with the latest (A3). Granted it's only 5 more rounds, but any is an improvement.

  • Does anybody know if this is legal in the state of Texas

  • I have a question for you sir, How did you take off the front sight. I dont have a hi point but am thinking about getting one and using some magpul sights to co-witness with a red dot.

  • @Cigarsoapbox Remove screw

  • @Cigarsoapbox

Very carefully -- LOL. 2 set screws on bottom side of barrel under the PickyDicky rail. Why not get a laser?

  • Would it not make sense for Hi Point to make their .45 carbine to use 1911 mags?!? All they would need to do is to adjust the interior "reach" of the mag disconnect, to go in deeper at the correct position...why dont they do so?!? There should be no utility patent issues for the 1911 model, as it has been out for 100 years, and, many, many companies manufacture the exact 1911 model! It would be nice to use a HP .45 carbine with compatability with 1911 mags to have a 1911 onhand, too...

  • Thank-you so much. I went out and bought a Hipoint today in.45.

I had planned on 9mm, only because Promag makes a 15 round mag for it.

    $319 btw with forward grip.

  • Smart man, you should be working for Hi Point.

  • @LRASS2009 I am,,, but not getting paid

  • I want to get the 45 round pro mag can that be done to it to?

  • @superbola007 NO Idea ???!!

  • Now..

    I am definitely get one.

Thank you for sharing your idea.

    Dooling akotutoo

  • I was on the fence as far as this carbine. Now I'll be getting one for sure. The carbine and 6 1911 Hicap modified will do nicely.

  • can u do this for the hi point .45 pistol?

  • Amazing man thanks so much now...I'm gonna mod a drum ;)

  • @Billvajtastic Let me know how how it works !

  • paul your the greatest i bought a high cap mag and did what you described it works great thanks again

  • why not cut the mags weld to the high point mags

  • @yuancg You could do that and tell me how it works out. This is so easy !

  • will u please let me kno if u can do this for the 4095??..

  • @lefty0024 Don't have one so I don't know ????? No Idea what magazine to start with.

  • The promag 15 round for the 9mm is shit. (Well, maybe not yours, but I know mine is). Nice vid

  • well that is a great idea if you have the 4595 but some ppl have the 995 got anything for them

  • Yeah they do make a 15 round clip for the high point but ProMag makes a 30 round 9mm clip and I was wondering if I would be able to mod it for my carbine.

  • Do you know if you can do the same thing with the 9mm carbine?

  • I thing someone makes one for the 9mm

  • magazine follower

  • Sell them!

  • Yea you're the best, no cutting! Can't wait to mod my own mags!

  • great informative video better than most other .45 magazine conversions hes right you don't need to take off any material from the magazine just follow his technique.

  • Great job. You should make those and sell them. Make them, they will come! lol

    Great video.

  • Pro-mags makes 15 RD Hi-Point mags for the carbines!

Also if one is not worried about going to the federal camp snoopy for five years for modifying the weapon. Then I recommended the old Thomson 45 ACP cal drum that you can be modified the same way!

They also make the drum for the 1911.. Google it!

STAY OUT OF PRISON! The food is bad and the company is worse!

  • The magazine at midwayusa is for the 9mm carbine. That’s a good indication that a factory made magazine is on the way,,,, Yee-ha !.

What’s with this camp snoopy stuff anyway ? A high capacity or drum magazine is not illegal unless of course you live in the communist republic of California. Most other places you can modify your weapon just not modify it to operate full auto. Check your state laws.

  • @PaulsWackyWorld

Hmmm from what I was told the 45 ACP clips from promag are in production". I could be wrong, but that is what the word was last month at the gun shows..

I tried to get my AK-47 WASR-10 modified to take hi-cap mags since it only takes 10 round mags because it was manufactured during the ban on hi-cap guns. And the gun smith said no! This was a federal offense! I could not alter the gun.

And as for camp snoopy this falls under the each state laws as you stated!

  • @PaulsWackyWorld

As you stated I think this falls under each state laws.. Great guns! I own all of them but the 45 Acp Carbine.. I have never had a prob with them. Although they don't like steal case bullets like wolf ammo. Brass operates the best.

    Check this out!

  • @PaulsWackyWorld @PaulsWackyWorld I live in & love CA, but their gun laws suck! The only people affected is law abiding citizens. It certainly doesn't stop bad guys from having hi capacity. The whole mag release button is a joke & unnecessary.

  • @PaulsWackyWorld . I bet they would change their tune if they were in the middle of a W-Hollywood bank robbery situation. No cops around but a citizen to help by laying down a barrage of suppressive fire. Gee congressman A-hole sorry but I can't get my magazine out to lay down 10 more rounds because of that stupid magazine release button.

  • @Iesous238 modifiing you're firearm isn't illegal in every state. you just have to have the license if its modifing it from semi to full auto

  • That is a federal offense! 200,000 dollar fine and up to five years in prison.

  • Hi Paul, what brand is that hi cap magazine? Great videos. Keep them coming.

  • No brand, just that crap you get for cheap money at the gun shows. I think you can get equivalent cheap crap or better from places like cheaperthandirt.c o m

  • Nicely done! Thanks!

  • Do you know a hi cap mag that will work with the 4095 ????????

  • Excellent video, I really like .45 Carbines and now with a hi-cap magazine option for the Hi-Point carbine this carbine has made it to the top of my list. I am seriously considering the Hi-Point .45 pistol and I bet this magazine mod would allow me to use a 15 round mag with said pistol, however weight/balance might be a concern. Has anyone tried this? Too bad options don't seem to exist for 20 round or 30 round .45 ACP magazines for this carbine, however it would probably be too long/awkward.

  • I would think any magazine (even the novelty drum crap) that fits in a 1911 would take the same mod and work in the Hi-Point . Maybe ??? (. )( .)

  • @PaulsWackyWorld

Yeah I will have to research my options when I buy, I will remember this video in the mean time. Thanks again.

  • I was wondering would you be able to make a video on how to take the weapon apart and clean? Because i can get it all the way down to the assembly but cannot seem to figure out how to get the bolt out

  • Nice to see a review/mod video without any foul language. One complaint. your volume goes up and down.

  • I was using some external mics and had some technical problems ,,, That’s what you get for free.

  • thanks, I'll start looking at the next gun show

  • Paul,

Love your videos, keep them coming. Thanks for the info, I'll start looking for a hi-mag. Did you use a 1911 mag?

    Jeffrealtall

ps, really like the video you made on reviewing and shooting the 4595, excellent.

  • Yes a standard 1911 single stack.

  • Nice been thinking about getting the 45 carbine already have 2 9mm carbines and love it. Have you tried the 1911 45 drum?

  • NOT YET,,,,,, LOL That will be sweet ! Have to find a good price on one 1st.
