@FREDDYJUNIOR25 I do find that alot of the "black" teams we play like to "trash talk" and their coaches allow it. My kids want to talk back, but my program will not allow it. Coaches set the culture of a team. I find many teams that talk trash are undisciplined. Kids watch TV and see these asses talking crap and show boating and we just won't have it at my school. I coach for a private Christian school. The old UM is not something you want to emulate, trust me.

@kieran621 most ohio recruits are from ohio since its a big football state, it also recruits from PA also. Every school however will look at top HS players to see if they want to come to said school, thats just common sense.
When miami started winning championships, crime rate went from worst in the early 80s to a pretty safe area. the murder rate for every 100k people went down from 15 to 3. it was miami football that did that not the the gov't tanks. my uncle lived there and said it was miami football that brought that city together...not the govt officials rolling down in tanks and guns
miami did give a chance for people with poor backgrounds and african americans to get an education and play football. during the 80s less than 6% of a. a. attained a college degree (associates and above). then in the 1990s, almost 25% of a.a. attained college degrees. more than 50% of them were student athletes. also miami football gave the city of florida 1 billion dollars because of their football team.
miami in the 80s was not a great tourist attraction now it is. the school also gets money and they hire people to do research and give people jobs 3.9 billion in the last 5 years

Miami was the team of the 80's. That is for sure but why didn't the documentary show Alabama whipping Miami in the Sugar Bowl in 1992 for the national championship and ending the Miami Dynasty. I remember watching that game and Alabama beat them by 30 points. Miami hasn't been the same since.

That OSU/ Canes game from 2002 was clearly the biggest sham in BCS history. The official with the best view (ie: right in front of the damn play), signalled that the game was over until the official from the other side of the endzone came running over 30 seconds later, throwing his flag around.

Okay get ready for another failed argument on your part. We lost to Wisconsin, who fucking cares, they were and still are one of the most respected teams in college football. Miami lost to Virginia Tech, voted the most disappointing team this season. VT lost to Boise State (little sister of the poor) and James Madison (little retarded sister of the poor). You couldn't beat a team that lost to not only an LSP, but also to a Division II school.
Bottom line: OSU strength of schedule=19, Miami=22.

In the amount of time that it took Ohio State to win 2 National Titles (their most recent two were in 1971 and 2002), Miami has won 5 National Titles during those nothing years of Ohio State (1983, 1987, 1989, 1991, 2001).

Coaches set the culture of a team. I find many teams that talk trash are undisciplined. Kids watch TV and see these asses talking crap and show boating and we just won't have it at my school. I coach for a private Christian school. The old UM is not something you want to emulate, trust me.

miami did give a chance for people with poor backgrounds and african americans to get an education and play football. during the 80s less than 6% of a. a. attained a college degree (associates and above). then in the 1990s, almost 25% of a.a. attained college degrees. more than 50% of them were student athletes. also miami football gave the city of florida 1 billion dollars because of their football team.
